There is no single best card setup for every Ragnarok X: Next Generation player: the right choices depend on your class branch, role, target content, equipment slot, and game version. The class-by-class table below records BlueStacks Content Team recommendations as starting points—not tested builds or a definitive current meta ranking. Check each card’s live effect and availability on your server before spending resources.

Class-by-class card starting points

These are the card names and equipment-slot assignments listed in the BlueStacks Content Team guide. Where it gives alternatives, the choice should be matched to your build and goal rather than treated as a universal ranking.

How to choose between the listed cards

Use the table as a shortlist, then compare card effects with your actual build and the content you play. A broad class label is not enough to settle the choice: different branches and roles can have different priorities.

Match the effect to your damage and rotation

For damage-focused builds, compare whether a card supports physical or magical output, penetration, final damage, or a relevant elemental or situational matchup. For repeated attacks, attack speed may matter; spell-focused builds may instead value haste, cast efficiency, or protection against interruption. A named recommendation alone does not show which effect best fits your current rotation.

Account for role and survival

Frontliners and close-range attackers may get more practical value from HP or defensive effects than from a damage option if staying alive is the constraint. Support builds may prioritize utility and survivability. PvP can reward defense or utility differently from PvE farming or boss damage, so do not assume a damage-oriented setup is best in every mode.

Check the class branch, slot, and trade-off

Compare candidates in the slot where they are recommended and against the gear you can realistically equip. The official Swordsman class page, for example, describes AGI Swordsman, Spear Knight, and VIT Knight branches; it also notes that Bash deals physical damage and can stun after Fatal Blow is learned. That is a useful reminder that the same broad class can have different playstyles and priorities.

Where to get cards and verify them

The BlueStacks guide says cards can drop from specific monsters and can also be sought through the in-game Exchange. To check a drop source, consult the Adventure Handbook or inspect the monster in the field. Drops may take patience, while Exchange prices vary with demand; high-demand MVP drops can attract bidding competition.

Before farming or buying, confirm the exact drop source, card effect, and server availability in your current client. The recommendations come from a secondary guide, not an independently verified complete card-stat database, so use the in-game information as the final check before committing scarce resources.

Why these recommendations can change

Card value is tied to class performance, and class balance changes can alter which stats or effects are worth pursuing. In its July 3, 2026 notice for the July 7 update, the official game site said final class-balance effects depend on the actual live version and that class and skill performance would continue to be monitored and optimized.

Pocket Gamer’s tier list, updated September 2, 2026, identifies version 2.4.0 and says its broad rankings consider PvE, PvP, and accessibility. Those criteria illustrate why a class ranking is not a card-by-card verification: a setup aimed at one mode or budget may not be best for another.

  • These are 60 micron sleeves which are ideal for games where you have a lot of cards. Thicker card sleeves are nice but getting the cards back in the box and handling hugely overstacked decks is a big issue on games over 100 cards.
