Replacement earbud tips are not universal accessories. The connector, nozzle diameter, earbud housing, charging case, and even the shape of each ear canal determine whether a tip will work. A good replacement can restore bass, improve passive isolation, reduce earbud movement, and make ANC more effective. The wrong one may fall off inside your ear, damage a nozzle, or stop a true-wireless case from charging.
This shortlist focuses on products with clearly defined use cases rather than pretending there is one universal winner. Check your earbud model and mounting system before buying, then test the installed tips with a tug test and—if they are true-wireless earbuds—with the charging case.

The products below are a compatibility-focused shortlist, not a laboratory ranking. “Best” depends on the earbud, nozzle, ear shape, and whether you prioritize cleaning, isolation, stability, or case compatibility.
1. SpinFit Omni: best low-profile silicone option for many true-wireless earbuds
The SpinFit Omni is designed for true-wireless earbuds and uses a flexible, swiveling core. That core allows the silicone tip to angle toward the ear canal instead of forcing the earbud housing to sit at one fixed angle. It is a sensible starting point when stock tips seal inconsistently or the earbuds move during walking.
#1 Best Overall
- Wide range of uses: these silicone eartips fit for prowerbeats pro ,beats x,urbeats,DO NOT fit for powerbeats 2,3.
- Replacement ear tips size: 4 types of eartips, small (9mm), medium (11 mm), large (13 mm) and double flange (13 mm), can meet your different needs
- Earbuds cap material: earpads are made of silicone in different colors, reusable and durable, elastic, soft to touch and comfortable for your ears
- Reduce noise: earphone tips sound isolating design reduces ambient noise for high-intensity listening, help you enjoy music smoothly and naturally
- Quantity: 4 pairs of replacement ear tips in total, 3 pairs of ear tips are bowl shape, another 1 pair of ear tips are double flange, enough to use
Its low-profile design is particularly useful for earbuds that sit close to the outer ear. However, “low profile” does not guarantee case compatibility. Install the tips, place both earbuds in the charging case, close the lid without force, and confirm that charging starts. A tip can feel excellent in the ear and still be too tall or wide for the case.
Use SpinFit’s compatibility chart before ordering. The mounting system and nozzle dimensions matter more than the earbud’s brand name.
2. SpinFit CP100+: best general-purpose silicone tip for wired IEMs
The CP100+ is aimed at standard round IEM nozzles. Its flexible silicone construction makes it an uncomplicated replacement for wired in-ear monitors whose original tips are worn, lost, or too uncomfortable.
Do not treat it as a universal IEM tip. Proprietary mounts are not the same as standard round nozzles, and a very wide nozzle may need a wider-bore model. Never force a tip that is too tight onto the nozzle: stretching it aggressively can damage the nozzle or make the tip difficult to remove.
Silicone is also easier to wash and reuse than foam, making the CP100+ a practical choice for users who exercise or do not want a recurring replacement cost.
3. Comply TrueGrip Pro: best foam option for compatible true-wireless earbuds
Comply TrueGrip Pro is a model-specific foam range for compatible true-wireless earbuds. Comply makes versions for products from Apple, Sony, Samsung, Jabra, Beats, and other manufacturers because stem shapes, mounting systems, sensors, and charging-case clearance vary.
Foam can improve passive isolation and grip, but it must be installed differently from silicone. Compress the foam into a thin cylinder, insert the earbud, and hold it in position while the foam expands. If you insert it without compressing it, the tip may not seat deeply or may push the earbud back out.
Foam also absorbs sweat and skin oils. Clean it according to the manufacturer’s instructions and expect to replace it periodically rather than treating it like a permanent silicone accessory.

4. Comply 100 Series: best shape selection for wired IEMs
The Comply 100 Series is intended for wired IEMs and small-nozzle earphones. Its useful distinction is shape: the range includes the Original TZ-100, Round TRZ-100, and Oval TOZ-100. A Shape Variety Pack includes one of each, which is helpful when you do not know whether your earphones or ear canals will suit a particular profile.
Listed compatible products include QuietOn 3.1, Etymotic ER2XR, ER4SR and hf5, ISOtunes Pro and Free, Westone, Klipsch, and Jays. That list is more useful than choosing by the word “medium” alone, because tip sizes are not standardized between manufacturers.
Comply lists a typical lifespan of two to three months per pair, depending on use and care. Replace the tips when the foam flakes, tears, or stops slowly returning to shape. Alcohol-based cleaners, lotions, and similar products shorten their life.
5. Comply TrueGrip for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro: best dedicated foam replacement for Galaxy Buds Pro
This is a model-specific product, not a generic Samsung Galaxy Buds accessory. The current listing explicitly supports the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and says it is not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Buds.

The assorted pack is the safer purchase if you are unsure of your size or if your left and right ears need different sizes.
Comply’s installation process is precise:
- Remove the stock tip.
- Press the replacement firmly onto the sound port.
- Roll the foam into a thin cylinder.
- Insert the earbud and hold it in place for 10–15 seconds while the foam expands.
After installation, perform a tug test. The tip should not slide off easily when you remove the earbud.
6. AZLA SednaEarfit MAX for AirPods Pro: best silicone choice for AirPods Pro
AirPods Pro tips do not use the same generic round-nozzle mount found on many wired IEMs. They attach with a snap-on connector and include an acoustic mesh, so AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro 2 require tips made for that mounting system.
AZLA’s SednaEarfit MAX for AirPods Pro is a silicone option built around an AirPods Pro-specific mounting base. It is therefore a more appropriate choice than trying to adapt a standard IEM tip.

On an iPhone, check the seal using Settings > Bluetooth > AirPods Pro > Ear Tip Fit Test. The test can identify a leak, but it cannot determine whether the tips will remain comfortable for hours. Pressure, itching, pain, or a tip that backs out still indicate a poor physical match.
7. Final Audio Type E: best soft silicone option for standard wired IEMs
Final Audio Type E tips use a rounded, soft silicone shape and are primarily intended for standard round IEM nozzles. They are a straightforward option when you want a softer silicone interface and a fuller seal without moving to foam.
There is one important limitation for people using hybrid or true-wireless setups: the Type E can be too tall for some charging cases. Check the lid and charging contacts after fitting. Never assume that a tip is case-safe simply because it fits the earbud nozzle.
As with any silicone tip, compare the seal on both sides rather than automatically using the same size in each ear. Left and right ear canals often differ.

Bose QuietComfort earbuds use a combined tip-and-stability-fin system. That design helps retain the earbud, but it also means generic round silicone tips are not direct replacements for the original assembly.
Buy a Bose Fit Kit matched to the exact model. QuietComfort Earbuds, QuietComfort Earbuds II, and QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds should not be assumed to share one interchangeable kit. Selecting the wrong generation can result in a poor fit or an attachment that does not seat correctly.
If the earbud still falls out after trying the correct tip and fin sizes, the problem may be the housing or the shape of your ear rather than the tip. A replacement tip cannot reproduce the retention offered by a wing or fin that is missing or incompatible.
9. AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC: best conforming fit for users who want extra grip
SednaEarfit XELASTEC uses a heat-responsive thermoplastic elastomer. It softens with body heat and conforms to the ear canal, potentially creating a secure fit for listeners who struggle with ordinary silicone tips slipping out.

- We have three pairs of the item, includes small, medium and large, suitable for most earphone tips from 5mm-7mm.
- Memory foam tips(ear foam cotton) can produce the seal in the ear canal, so that music is almost no loss to reverberate in your ear canal, feeling different.
- The seal can isolate the external noise interference, even in the noisy environment, without increasing the volume up to over the noise, which can protect your ears.
- The storage box can well protect your earbud tips from being damage, also can be used to put original tips
That material needs more care than conventional silicone. It can deform when stored under pressure or exposed to heat, and its surface attracts more dust. Store the tips without compressing them and keep them away from hot environments.
XELASTEC is not automatically more comfortable or more durable. Its conforming behavior can work well for one ear shape and feel too intrusive for another, so sizing and gradual testing matter.
How to choose the right replacement earbud tips
1. Identify the attachment system first
Look at the earbud nozzle and check the manufacturer’s compatibility list. Standard round wired-IEM nozzles can accept products such as SpinFit CP100+ or Final Audio Type E. AirPods Pro, Bose QuietComfort, Galaxy Buds Pro, and other model-specific designs need their corresponding mount.
2. Choose silicone or foam
| Choose silicone if you want… | Choose foam if you want… |
|---|---|
| Easy cleaning and longer service life | More passive isolation and additional grip |
| Fast insertion without compression | A tip that conforms as it expands |
| Better resistance to sweat and skin oils | A softer, more isolating seal |
Foam is not automatically better. It is a consumable, absorbs oils and sweat, and requires compression each time. Silicone is easier to clean, but it may provide less grip for some ears.

Comply recommends starting with the same size as the stock silicone tip and says medium fits most users, but medium is not a universal measurement. A medium from one brand may be smaller or larger than a medium from another. An assorted pack is useful when you are uncertain, and the two ears may need different sizes.
4. Check the seal and the sound
A leaking seal usually reduces bass and can make an earbud sound thin. It can also reduce ANC performance because active cancellation cannot fully compensate for a physical leak. Try a different size or shape before changing equalizer settings.
Bore size can also affect the perceived sound. Narrower bores are commonly associated with more warmth and bass presence, while wider bores may sound more open or brighter. These are fit-dependent tendencies, not guaranteed changes for every earbud.
5. Perform the two safety checks
- Tug test: gently pull the installed tip. It should not slide off easily. If it remains in your ear when you remove the earbud, stop using it; it is loose, poorly seated, or incompatible.
- Case test: for true-wireless earbuds, place both earbuds in the case, confirm the lid closes normally, and verify that charging begins.
Installation and cleaning checklist
- Remove the old tip carefully rather than pulling on the earbud’s sound port.
- Inspect the nozzle and clean it with a dry, soft brush or microfiber cloth. Do not push wax into the sound port.
- Push the replacement fully onto the nozzle or connector.
- For foam, compress the tip before insertion and hold it in place for several seconds while it expands.
- If a silicone tip is unusually tight, a tiny amount of clean water may help during installation. Do not use oil or lotion, and make sure the tip and nozzle are completely dry before use.
- Run the tug test and, on true-wireless models, check case clearance and charging.
FAQ
Are replacement earbud tips universal?
No. Many wired IEMs use standard round nozzles, but AirPods Pro, Bose QuietComfort, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, and other earbuds use proprietary or semi-proprietary mounting systems. Always check compatibility for the exact model.

Should both ears use the same ear tip size?
Not necessarily. The left and right ear canals can differ, and tip-size labels are not standardized between brands. Test each ear independently.
Why do new tips reduce the bass?
The tips may not be sealing correctly. A leak allows low frequencies to escape, making the sound thin and often weakening ANC performance. Try a different size, shape, or insertion depth.
How long do Comply foam tips last?
Comply lists a typical lifespan of two to three months per pair for the 100 Series, depending on use and care. Replace them sooner if they flake, tear, or stop slowly rebounding.
Why will my charging case not close after I replace the tips?
The replacement may be taller or wider than the stock tip. Remove it and verify the exact model compatibility, then test a lower-profile option. Do not force the case closed, because that can damage the earbuds or case.
Can replacement tips stop earbuds from falling out?
They can improve grip and sealing, but not every stability problem is caused by the tip. Some earbuds require a wing, fin, hook, or a housing shape that matches your ear.
The Bottom Line
Start with compatibility, not brand or size. For standard wired IEMs, SpinFit CP100+, Final Audio Type E, and Comply 100 Series are the most relevant choices. For true-wireless earbuds, SpinFit Omni or Comply TrueGrip Pro may work when the compatibility chart lists your model. AirPods Pro, Bose QuietComfort, and Galaxy Buds Pro owners should use model-specific replacements such as AZLA SednaEarfit MAX, Bose Fit Kit components, or Comply’s Galaxy Buds Pro TrueGrip.
Whatever you choose, check the seal, perform a tug test, and verify charging-case clearance. Those three checks prevent most replacement-tip failures.
