Uniqode is the strongest documented fit for a chain that wants one printed QR code to direct each scanner to the nearest branch, along with team controls. QRCodeChimp is a budget-oriented option for many dynamic codes and location analytics; Flowcode suits enterprise teams that need workspaces; QR TIGER stands out for bulk generation; and Scanova is better suited to country- or device-based redirects than nearest-branch selection. The right choice depends on whether you need routing, location attribution, or administrative separation—three different capabilities.

How to compare QR code generators for a chain

“Multiple locations” can mean several different jobs. A code may send a person to the closest branch, report where scans occur, or let regional teams manage their own campaigns. Those functions are not interchangeable.

  • Routing: Can one code choose a branch based on a scanner’s location, or does it only redirect by country, device, or operating system?
  • Attribution: Does each branch have its own code, or do you rely on scan-location analytics? Location analytics may depend on the scanner granting permission, so they should not be treated as a complete record of visits.
  • Administration: Check whether the plan supports the required users, roles, workspaces or separate organizations. A chain with franchisees may need stronger separation than a centrally managed team.
  • Scale: Compare the total number of active dynamic codes with the maximum codes created in one batch. Batch size is not the same as a subscription’s code allowance.
  • Continuity: Confirm what happens to editable destinations if a subscription expires. Uniqode says its dynamic location codes depend on an active plan; a static code continues to work only while its encoded URL remains live.

The feature and price figures below come from vendor materials and a 2026 comparison, not independent performance testing. Plan limits and pricing can change.

Quick comparison

Generator Best fit Location routing and analytics Administration and scale Published plan figures
Uniqode Chains needing nearest-branch routing plus governance Vendor product materials describe one multi-URL code routing to the closest branch using scanner geolocation; location analytics are also described. Team tools and role permissions are described; separate organizations are reported only on Business+. Uniqode comparison reports 250 dynamic codes per Core batch and up to 10,000 on Enterprise (page accessed 2026). Current price: not stated in the reviewed comparison.
QRCodeChimp Cost-conscious volume with separate codes per location Precise-location tracking is reported for Pro; nearest-branch routing is not listed in the reviewed comparison. Folders may be adequate for simpler structures; roles or organization controls are not listed in the reviewed tier table. TechBullion’s 2026 comparison reports Pro at $13.99/month with 300 dynamic codes. Confirm current terms with the vendor.
Flowcode Enterprise teams organized by region or department Location smart routing is reported at Pro Plus; exact routing behavior and plan packaging should be confirmed with Flowcode. Workspaces by team, region, or department are reported. Enterprise capabilities are sold through a demo. Price and code allowance: not stated in the reviewed comparison (2026).
QR TIGER High-volume batch creation and broad feature set Smart Multi URL codes, precision geolocation tracking, and geofencing are listed on Premium. Official pricing lists bulk batches up to 3,000 on Advanced and Premium; those tiers list one user. QR TIGER’s pricing page, accessed October 2, 2026, lists Premium at US$37/month and 600 dynamic codes.
Scanova Redirects based on country, device, or operating system Conditional redirects by country, device, or OS are reported. The comparison does not describe it as selecting the nearest branch in the same way as Uniqode. Exact GPS location reporting is reported at a higher tier; other administration limits are not stated in the reviewed comparison (2026). Price and exact plan for the cited routing features: not stated in the reviewed comparison (2026); verify with Scanova.

The five best options

1. Uniqode — best documented combination of nearest-branch routing and governance

Uniqode’s product materials describe a multi-URL QR code that routes a scanner to the closest branch based on geolocation. That makes it the clearest match here when a chain wants to print one code across shared materials rather than maintain a different destination code for every branch. The vendor also describes editable dynamic codes, analytics by location, device, time, and campaign, and bulk and team tools.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

The main organizational caveat is tier separation: the comparison reports role-based access from Plus, while distinct organizations are available only on Business+. A centrally managed team may be satisfied with roles; a franchise model that needs separate organization-level control should include the Business+ requirement in its cost evaluation. Uniqode says dynamic location codes depend on an active plan, whereas static codes remain usable while their encoded map URL is live.

2. QRCodeChimp — budget-oriented choice for many codes and location tracking

The 2026 TechBullion comparison reports QRCodeChimp Pro at $13.99 per month with 300 dynamic codes and precise-location tracking. The same reviewed comparison does not list nearest-branch routing or roles and organizations for the tier table, so treat it as a candidate for a different operating model: create distinct codes for each location and organize them in folders if that is sufficient for your team.

4. QR TIGER — strongest documented bulk-generation figures

QR TIGER’s official pricing page lists batches of up to 3,000 QR codes on Advanced and Premium. That is useful when the task is producing many codes at once, but it is a per-batch figure, not the total active-code allowance. The same pricing page lists one user on those tiers, an important constraint if branch managers need their own access.

Premium lists Smart Multi URL codes, precision geolocation tracking, and geofencing. QR TIGER’s pricing table, accessed October 2, 2026, shows Premium at US$37 per month with 600 dynamic codes. Check the current table and confirm that the routing and access model fit your use case before committing.

5. Scanova — consider for country- and device-based localization

Scanova is reported to support conditional redirects by country, device, or operating system, with exact GPS location reporting at a higher tier. Those conditions can be useful when campaign destinations vary by market or device. The reviewed comparison does not describe Scanova as identifying the nearest branch in the same way as Uniqode; if that is the core requirement, ask Scanova to demonstrate the exact branch-selection behavior before deciding.

Choose by the job you need done

  • One code, nearest branch: Start with Uniqode, whose product page documents closest-branch routing from scanner geolocation. Ask what permission and location accuracy assumptions apply in your target regions.
  • Many codes, one per branch: QRCodeChimp may suit a budget-conscious setup if folders and separate codes meet your attribution and management needs.
  • Regional or department ownership: Evaluate Flowcode’s workspaces, or Uniqode if role controls and, at Business+, separate organizations fit your governance model.
  • Large batches: QR TIGER’s listed batch maximum is up to 3,000 on Advanced and Premium. Verify the total code allowance separately.
  • Country, device, or OS-specific destination: Scanova’s reported conditional redirects may fit better than a nearest-branch feature.

What to confirm before rollout

  1. Write down the routing rule. Specify whether each code should select the nearest branch, a country-specific page, or a fixed branch URL. Ask the vendor to show that exact flow, not just a generic location feature.
  2. Separate scan attribution from routing. If you need to know which branch’s signage generated a scan, unique branch codes can provide that attribution without relying on scanner location. If you rely on geolocation analytics, ask how consent affects reporting and how the dashboard labels location precision.
  3. Map the account structure. List administrators, regional managers, franchisees, and anyone who needs edit access. Match those roles to user limits, role permissions, workspaces, or separate organizations before printing codes.
  4. Check both code limits. Confirm active dynamic-code allotment and batch-creation maximum, along with API access if codes will be generated by an internal system. Do not assume a large batch limit means unlimited active codes.
  5. Test the physical destination. Scan a sample at the storefront and from outside the store, then verify the destination on the phones and operating systems your customers use. A window decal or storefront sign can carry the code, but the destination and physical placement still need to work in the actual setting.
  6. Plan for subscription changes. Ask what happens to dynamic redirects, analytics, and account access if the subscription is downgraded or ends. Keep any static map URL live if you depend on a static code.

How to read vendor claims

These tools are not ranked by independently measured customer lift or market share; no industry-wide comparison establishing either was identified. Uniqode’s comparison page says the company serves “50,000+ businesses worldwide,” a vendor-published claim rather than an independently audited market statistic. Treat product-page capabilities, testimonials, and published customer counts as vendor statements, then validate the feature and plan that matter in your own account.
