How do you play Temari Trials: Dojo’s Test?
Each stage asks you to use the fox to push temaris—round balls—toward locked chests. The basic loop is to inspect the layout, plan where the temaris need to go, move the fox to push one, and check the result. A temari can also push another temari, so the order and positioning of pushes can matter as much as aiming a ball directly at a chest. The official descriptions do not spell out every rule or control, so treat the visible puzzle layout and in-game prompts as the guide for a particular stage.
When a temari hits a chest, it removes one lock. Chests in the game’s described design range have one to three locks; remove all locks to clear the stage. The official product descriptions on Nintendo’s Switch listing and the Xbox Series listing describe this central objective.
How does progress work?
A successful stage clear advances the fox to the next challenge. Nintendo lists 30 handcrafted single-player stages. The listing says challenges depend on how many hits a chest requires and on the positions of the temaris. That means later play can ask for more careful planning across hit counts and positions, but the available official descriptions do not establish a precise stage-by-stage difficulty ranking or a steadily rising difficulty curve.

What should you do when a push goes wrong?
The official listings name two recovery options: undo and restart. Use undo to back out of a move when you want to reconsider the current sequence; restart is the broader reset if you want to try the stage again from its starting layout. The product descriptions do not provide a complete control map, so consult the game’s on-screen prompts for the exact button or input on your platform.
Which platforms and play modes are listed?
Nintendo lists Temari Trials: Dojo’s Test for Nintendo Switch, with TV, tabletop, and handheld play modes. Its US product page lists a February 19, 2026 release date, while a Nintendo UK listing surfaced with February 18, 2026; release dates can differ by region, so use the listing for your local store if the date matters.
