Its included off-white bezel and light wood magnetic frame, art and photo features, and close-to-wall mounting option can suit several kinds of living room. The five looks below are room-planning ideas—not manufacturer configurations—and the actual TV features are identified separately from the styling choices.
What the TCL A300L brings to the room
TCL’s US 2026 Designer Series listing names the 55-inch model as the 55A300L and lists 55-, 65- and 75-inch sizes. TCL describes an off-white bezel, an included light wood magnetic frame, an included flush wall mount, an adjustable-height table stand, art and AI art features, a personal photo gallery, an ultra-matte anti-glare screen, a 4K QLED display, Google TV and a native 144Hz refresh rate. These are manufacturer-listed features, not independent performance measurements.
The design premise is that the screen can serve as a visual feature when you are not watching TV. TCL markets the matte finish as a way to reduce reflections, not eliminate them; the listing provides no independent glare measurement. It also lists Dolby Vision and HDR support, but that does not establish measured picture quality or gaming latency.
Five room treatments for the same TV
Each treatment changes the room around the A300L—not the TV’s manufacturer configuration. The best fit depends on how you use the screen, your wall and lighting, and whether the mounting method works for your space.

1. Quiet gallery wall
Room treatment: Use a restrained wall color, spare furniture and a small number of carefully placed objects so the screen reads more like framed art when idle.
TV contribution: The included off-white bezel and light wood magnetic frame, together with TCL’s listed art features and flush mount, support this look. The mount is designed for a close-to-wall installation, but TCL says it is not compatible with VESA mounts. Do not assume a generic VESA arm will work.

TV contribution: TCL lists one included light wood magnetic frame. It can echo wood furniture; it does not mean that other frame colors are included. Verify any separately sold frame’s exact A300L compatibility before buying.

3. Bright, windowed room
Room treatment: Plan screen placement and seating around the windows, and consider curtains or blinds if direct daylight is disruptive.
TV contribution: TCL describes the display as ultra-matte and anti-glare, with the aim of reducing reflections. That is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee of a reflection-free picture: TCL’s listing does not provide an independent glare test. If reflection control is decisive, assess the TV in your actual lighting conditions before relying on the finish alone.

4. Personal-photo room
Room treatment: Use the screen to show family photos or other personal images when it is not being used for programs, if the feature and workflow are available on your exact model and in your region.
TV contribution: TCL lists a personal photo gallery. Its support article on T-Exhibition and personal photos describes Google TV Ambient Mode and Google Photos as a separate route for displaying personal images; it does not treat that workflow as part of T-Exhibition. TCL says T-Exhibition is available on select Google TV models, names A300W among them, and warns that availability varies by model and market. The support article does not establish that every A300L has the same app or workflow, so check the software for your specific A300L before planning around it.

5. Media-first or gaming room
Room treatment: Keep the TV visually integrated, but orient seating and furnishings toward regular viewing rather than treating the screen mainly as wall art.
TV contribution: TCL lists a 4K QLED display, Dolby Vision and HDR support, Google TV and a native 144Hz refresh rate. Those specifications may matter to a household that watches video or plays games, but they do not establish measured image quality, input lag or gaming performance. Decide whether the frame-style appearance still suits the room when the screen is in frequent use.

TCL’s US listing offers these three screen sizes. It does not provide a room-size or seating-distance recommendation in the cited product information, so use your own wall width, seating position and viewing preferences rather than treating any size as right for a particular room.

Mounting and photo setup: check the exact model
Before mounting
- TCL lists an included flush mount and says it is not compatible with VESA mounts. Check the exact A300L instructions and your wall conditions before installation.
- The product listing also describes an adjustable-height table stand. Confirm the size-specific documentation and current box contents; do not assume an accessory from another model fits.
- The earlier A300W/NXTFRAME launch materials mention a movable floor stand, but that does not establish A300L compatibility. TCL’s support model-documentation page is a place to check model-specific information.
Before relying on an art or photo workflow
TCL’s support instructions for supported models say to open T-Exhibition from the Google TV Apps list, choose an art collection or AI option, and start a slideshow. For personal photos, the article directs users to Settings › System › Ambient Mode, then Google Photos, where albums or images can be selected. These steps describe the support article’s supported models; confirm that the exact A300L software and market support them before following them as guaranteed instructions.

TCL also notes that T-Exhibition is not interconnected with Google’s screensaver. Ambient Mode timeout, sleep and power settings, network quality, model and region can affect what appears and when. If a photo slideshow does not start or stops unexpectedly, check those settings and confirm which feature you are using.
