Tapas will end service on March 31, 2027, at 23:59 Pacific Time. After that deadline, readers will lose access to Tapas, including episodes they previously unlocked. Tapas says Ink purchases are final and non-refundable, though its general refund policy allows possible case-by-case exceptions in special circumstances.
What Tapas is ending—and when
Tapas posted its end-of-service notice on October 1, 2026. The company set March 31, 2027, as the end date. Its End of Service FAQ specifies 23:59 Pacific Time as the last moment to access Tapas, use Ink, or unlock episodes.
This means the Tapas platform will no longer provide access to its content after the deadline. It does not establish that every story file is being deleted from publishers’ archives or that a title will disappear from every other legally available service. The sources do not say where Solo Leveling will be available digitally after Tapas closes.
What happens to Solo Leveling episodes you unlocked?
Tapas says readers will not be able to access the platform after service ends, including previously unlocked content. A Tapas unlock therefore does not give you continuing access to that episode after March 31, 2027, at 23:59 PT.

Tapas also says unlocked content cannot be transferred to Kakao Page, Kakao Webtoon, or another platform. Account data or a library record should not be treated as a way to preserve access to the comics themselves.
What to do with remaining Ink
Tapas stopped allowing users to acquire additional Ink on October 1, 2026, including free Ink through the app. The company says it currently has no plans for more sales or events, and that prices will remain unchanged. Any Ink you already have can be used until the service deadline; unspent Ink will no longer be usable afterward.
- Check your balance. Review your Tapas account for remaining Ink.
- Choose whether to use it before closure. You can spend available Ink to unlock eligible episodes through March 31, 2027, at 23:59 PT.
- Do not count on carrying it over. Tapas says neither remaining Ink nor unlocked content transfers to another platform.
If you want to unlock episodes or support creators, plan around that final-use date. This is a limited window for spending existing Ink, not an opportunity to buy or earn more.
Can you get a refund?
Tapas’s Refund Policy says Ink transactions are final and non-refundable. That is the company’s stated general position for the closure, not a guarantee that every individual request is barred: the broader policy says Tapas may consider a refund or adjustment in special circumstances, case by case.
For a problem with a particular payment, the policy directs readers to the relevant payment route: contact Apple or Google for purchases processed through those stores. PayPal purchasers are directed to contact Tapas and provide a receipt. These channels address transaction problems; they do not promise a refund for unused Ink or content that becomes inaccessible when Tapas closes.
Does a print edition preserve your Tapas access?
No. A print volume is a separate physical purchase, not a transfer of Tapas unlocks or a way to keep your Tapas library. If you are considering a Solo Leveling print edition, check its language and current availability with the seller. A print listing also does not establish where the series will be offered digitally after the closure.

The closure announcement does not determine the future licensing or availability of each title on other services.
