To find upcoming VR games, use Steam’s Coming Soon search with its VR-support filter, or browse Meta Quest’s Coming soon & pre-orders and New & coming soon collections. Add games you want to follow to the relevant store’s wishlist. Steam’s listing is for PC games with VR support; Meta’s collections are Quest-specific, so a game appearing in one store does not establish that it is available in the other.
Where to find upcoming VR games on Steam
- Open Steam’s Coming Soon search with the VR-support filter enabled.
- Sort the results by Release date to scan the schedule chronologically.
- Check each result’s VR label and release field, then open the game’s page for its current details.
- Add games you want to revisit to your Steam wishlist.
Steam distinguishes VR Only games from VR Supported games. VR Only indicates that the listing requires VR; VR Supported indicates that it supports VR but may also offer other play modes. The results may show a precise calendar date or a broader estimate such as a month, quarter, or year. Treat the date as the store’s current listing, not a guarantee: release schedules can change.
Where to find upcoming games on the Meta Quest Store
- Browse Meta Quest’s Coming soon & pre-orders category or its New & coming soon collection.
- Open a game’s listing to check its current information and availability.
- Use the store’s Wishlist entry to save titles you want to track.
These are Quest-store categories, not a directory of every VR game announced for any platform. An announced game may not yet appear in the Quest store, and a listing in Meta’s store does not establish that the title is also on Steam. The cited category pages do not establish a complete schedule or region-by-region availability.
How Steam and Meta differ for tracking releases

|---|---|---|
| Upcoming-game discovery | Coming Soon search with a VR-support filter; results can be sorted by release date. | Coming soon & pre-orders and New & coming soon categories. |
| Platform scope | PC storefront results with VR-support labels. | Quest-specific store categories. |
| VR labeling | Results distinguish VR Only and VR Supported. | The cited category pages do not establish equivalent labels. |
| Release-date detail | Listings may show an exact date or a month, quarter, or year estimate. | Date granularity is not established by the cited category evidence. |
| Saving a title | Wishlist. | Wishlist. |
| Wishlist notification details | Not established by the cited sources. | Not established by the cited sources. |
What a wishlist does—and does not—tell you
A wishlist gives you a place in the store to find games you have saved. The sources establish wishlist access on both platforms, but do not establish that alerts work identically or specify email, push-notification, or reminder timing. Save a game to keep it accessible, but check its store page directly when you need the latest release information.

For developers, Meta’s documentation says that users can wishlist an app between its approval and release, and that a scheduled release date cannot be set until the app is approved. That publishing process helps explain why an unreleased title may not yet be available to wishlist; it does not describe a consumer notification policy. See Meta’s Submitting your app documentation, updated May 8, 2026.

Steam’s results can mix specific days with broader month, quarter, or year windows. A broad window is an estimate, not a hidden exact date. Check the individual listing rather than relying on a search result alone, and revisit it as the date approaches. Meta’s cited category pages do not support a comparable claim about how precisely Quest release dates are presented.
