How many trophies and achievements are there?
The official STAR WARS: Galactic Racer FAQ confirms trophy and achievement support on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. The published lists differ by platform:

The difference is the PS5 Platinum, which is awarded for earning the other trophies. PowerPyx breaks the PS5 list down as 1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 10 Silver, and 38 Bronze trophies. Xbox and Steam use achievements rather than a Platinum trophy.
What is the best order to unlock everything?
Use the first campaign run to open up the remaining difficulty and content, then group repeatable campaign objectives before switching to Arcade time trials. PowerPyx says the post-unlock cleanup can be completed in any order, so treat these steps as an efficiency-minded route rather than a strict sequence.

- Finish the campaign once. This unlocks Champion difficulty, according to PowerPyx. While progressing, take note of sidebets and Rival encounters; the guide says repeated sidebets can lead to Rival head-to-head races.
- Prepare for the Champion requirement. PowerPyx recommends considering extra runs first to unlock or improve Favors, parts, abilities, or Racer Styles. Then defeat Kestar Bool in the Galactic League Championship on Champion difficulty. The trophy condition is this Championship win; the guides do not say that every campaign act must be replayed on the highest difficulty.
- Combine Galactic Gauntlet cleanup. Repeat Act 2 or Act 3 until you have won the Galactic Gauntlet with all 20 Favors, all 14 Racer Styles, and all three vehicle types. PowerPyx recommends Act 2 for repeats because Act 3 includes an extra planet and more story Podracing events. Before each Gauntlet attempt, check which Favor and Racer Style are equipped so each win advances a different checklist item.
- Complete the story-side collections. Finish all 12 Tales of Podracing and beat all 11 Rivals in head-to-head races. Track these totals as you play rather than assuming the encounters will all be cleared by completing the story.
- Clear one-off and system trophies. The lists include campaign milestones, vehicle customization, using abilities and upgrades, placing sidebets, earning backer ratings, passing race checks, and driving feats such as overheating the Ramjet or exceeding a speed threshold. Check the exact condition in the PowerPyx trophy guide or Destructoid achievement list; do not rely on these unlocking automatically.
- Earn gold on all 50 base Arcade events. PowerPyx identifies these time trials as the main challenge in its difficulty estimate. The Deluxe edition adds three Arcade events, but the guide says DLC is not required for the Platinum.
- Collect the PS5 Platinum. Once every other trophy is earned, Galactic Champion unlocks for obtaining them all.
How hard is the completion, and how long does it take?
PowerPyx’s 2026 estimate for the PS5 Platinum is 70–100 hours and 8/10 difficulty. Those are guide estimates, not guaranteed completion times: the guide says skill and luck affect the total, and points to the 50 Arcade gold time trials as the primary challenge. The route also involves substantial repeatable cleanup for Gauntlet wins, Rivals, and Tales of Podracing.
Are any trophies missable or online-only?
PowerPyx reports no missable trophies, no online trophies, and no known glitched trophies at the time its 2026 guide was published. The official FAQ says the solo campaign, Arcade events, and Scenarios can be played offline. Internet is needed for patches, updates, and online features; on PC, an internet connection is required for first-launch authentication. Offline play therefore covers the main solo modes, not every game feature or initial PC setup.

Which platform or edition should you choose?
Choose based on the platform’s completion system: PS5 has the 50-trophy list and Platinum, while Xbox Series X|S and Steam have the 49-achievement list. The game launched on October 6, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, according to StarWars.com.

The official game site lists physical Standard and Deluxe editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, plus a physical Collector’s Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Collector’s Edition contents include a landspeeder model, physical art book, patches, and banner. Edition availability can vary by region. Deluxe adds three Arcade events, but those are not needed for the Platinum according to PowerPyx. The official FAQ also says wheel support is not currently available and podracers are not customizable.
