The October 6, 2026 announcement identifies a new design, but does not provide a price, release date, or ordering window for this edition.
What is the INZONE H9 II Fnatic Edition?
It is a Fnatic-inspired colorway of Sony’s H9 II gaming headset. Sony says the H9 II line is available in Black, White, and Fnatic Edition, and describes the H9 II and INZONE E9 as products developed with esports team Fnatic for competitive play, particularly FPS games. Sony’s announcement does not identify a hardware or performance change for the Fnatic Edition, so the announced distinction from the standard H9 II is its color and design.
Sony describes the H9 II as tuned to reproduce distant footsteps clearly and deep rumbles, with an FPS-optimized EQ preset. The headset’s design is based on the driver unit of Sony’s WH-1000XM6 noise-cancelling headphones. These are Sony’s product descriptions, not independent test results. Sony’s official wording is: “The INZONE H9 II Fnatic Edition features a Fnatic-inspired colour scheme.” Sony Europe, October 6, 2026.
What is known about its specifications?
Sony’s October announcement states battery life of up to 30 hours, with a 2.4 GHz connection, noise cancelling off, and chat active. Sony Electronics’ 2025 U.S. release gives these additional specifications for the H9 II:

Those specifications describe the H9 II platform; Sony’s 2026 announcement does not separately list Fnatic Edition hardware specifications. The official U.S. product-page search result identifies an orange Fnatic Edition model as WH-G910N/D, but check Sony’s live listing for your region before relying on that identifier.
When will the Fnatic Edition be available, and how much will it cost?
Sony has not announced a release date, order window, or price for the Fnatic Edition in its October 6, 2026 announcement. The original black and white H9 II launched in the U.S. in 2025 with a $349.99 USD MSRP, according to Sony Electronics’ August 19, 2025 release. That is historical launch pricing for those colors—not confirmed pricing for the Fnatic Edition. Sony’s earlier release named Amazon, Sony, and Best Buy as preorder retailers for the original colors; it does not establish a current listing or stock for the new edition.
