Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 leads the Helio G91 in the 91mobiles benchmark results cited here, and it is the only one of the two with documented 5G support. The reported scores favor Snapdragon, but they come from device entries rather than a controlled test of two otherwise identical phones. The best choice for you still depends on the handset’s configuration, price, software and network compatibility.

Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 vs Helio G91: specifications at a glance

The specifications below combine Qualcomm’s official Snapdragon information with 91mobiles’ entries for both chipsets. Helio G91 details in the table are third-party listings; they should not be treated as manufacturer-verified specifications.

Which chipset is faster in the reported benchmarks?

91mobiles lists higher AnTuTu and Geekbench scores for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 than for Helio G91. The source does not clearly state the test year or benchmark versions in the accessible entries. These are real-device database results, not a controlled comparison using the same phone design, software and test conditions.

Benchmark listed by 91mobiles Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Helio G91

Geekbench single-core 840 412
Geekbench multi-core 1,963 1,448

The figures indicate an advantage for Snapdragon in these entries, particularly in the single-core result. They do not establish the exact speed difference you will see between two specific phones. Cooling, software, memory configuration, power limits and benchmark version can all affect a device’s score and everyday response.

What the CPU and process differences mean

Both processors are listed with an eight-core, 2+6 arrangement: two performance-oriented cores and six efficiency-oriented cores. The cited specifications give Snapdragon newer Cortex-A78 performance cores, compared with Cortex-A75 cores for Helio G91; both use Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. This is a meaningful architectural distinction, but it does not alone predict a phone’s day-to-day speed.

Qualcomm specifies a 4nm process for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, while 91mobiles lists Helio G91 at 12nm. A smaller stated process node can be relevant to chip design and efficiency, but it is not a battery-life guarantee. Screen, battery capacity, radio use, software and the phone’s thermal design also affect how long a handset lasts and how it behaves under load.

Graphics, memory and storage

91mobiles identifies Adreno 611 graphics for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 and Mali-G52 MC2 for Helio G91. Those names are not enough to determine which phone will deliver higher frame rates in a particular game. Game optimization, resolution, graphics settings, cooling and device power limits matter; the cited figures do not provide a matched gaming test.

Both are listed with LPDDR4X memory. Storage support differs in the cited specifications: Qualcomm lists UFS 3.1 support for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, while 91mobiles lists UFS 2.1 for Helio G91. These are supported technologies, not confirmation that every phone using a chipset includes a particular storage type. Check the exact phone variant before comparing app loading or file-transfer expectations.

5G and wireless connectivity

Qualcomm documents Release 17 5G for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, including sub-6GHz operation, 100MHz bandwidth and peak download capability up to 1Gbps. That is a platform peak, not a promise of real-world throughput: coverage, carrier, local spectrum, phone antennas and network conditions all matter.

The cited material does not establish a sufficiently detailed official Helio G91 connectivity specification for a complete modem comparison. Do not infer its full network feature set from that gap. If 5G is essential, verify that the particular phone supports it; also check local network bands and carrier compatibility for the exact regional model. Qualcomm’s page lists Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 for Snapdragon, but the available Helio G91 information does not support a verified comparison across those wireless standards.

Which phones use these chipsets?

91mobiles lists Xiaomi Redmi A4 and POCO C75 among phones using Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, and Itel S24 as a Helio G91 phone. These examples can help narrow a search, but they are not a current price or availability comparison. Models and configurations can vary by country, so confirm the exact regional version and its specifications before buying.

Which should you choose?

  • Consider a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phone if documented 5G capability, the newer listed performance-core design or the stronger scores in the cited 91mobiles entries matter to you.
  • Consider a Helio G91 phone if the specific handset offers a better fit for your budget or needs. The available benchmark entries rank it lower, but a chipset score alone does not determine overall phone value.
  • Compare the actual phones, not just the chips. Check RAM and storage, display, battery, software version and update commitments, local bands, warranty, price and availability for each exact model.

Neither chipset makes every phone using it universally better. No same-device controlled test, current handset pricing, stock information, update commitment or local band compatibility is established by the cited specifications and benchmark listings.
