On published specifications, Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is the more capable platform: it supports 5G, LPDDR5 memory, and a listed CPU peak of 2.3 GHz, while Helio G25 is a 4G platform with LPDDR3/LPDDR4x support and eight Cortex-A53 cores up to 2.0 GHz. A third-party AnTuTu 10 comparison also favors Snapdragon, but its device models and test conditions are not identified, so the result is directional—not a guarantee for every phone.

Which chipset is better?

For 5G and newer memory support: Snapdragon 4 Gen 4

Snapdragon’s listed 5G connectivity and LPDDR5 support make it the stronger fit on paper for a phone intended to use 5G networks or newer memory technology. Qualcomm also lists a higher peak CPU clock, but clock speed and process figures alone cannot predict sustained speed or battery life in a finished phone.

For an existing 4G phone: Helio G25

Helio G25 is a 4G platform. Its published CPU configuration is eight Cortex-A53 cores up to 2.0 GHz, and MediaTek describes its HyperEngine resource management for gaming and system power management. That vendor description is not a directly comparable battery-life or sustained-frame-rate result against Snapdragon 4 Gen 4.

For graphics or a specific handset

Qualcomm identifies an Adreno GPU but does not name its model on the retrieved page; MediaTek specifies a PowerVR GE8320 up to 650 MHz. Those details do not establish a fair graphics ranking by themselves. The phone’s display, memory, cooling, firmware, power limits, and implementation of optional platform features also affect what users experience.

AnTuTu 10 benchmark comparison

Platform AnTuTu 10 score listed by TopCPU
Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 463,277
Helio G25 157,365

TopCPU’s listed comparison favors Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. The retrieved comparison does not identify the tested phones, operating-system versions, thermal conditions, or protocol, and its publication year is not shown. Treat these figures as third-party comparison data rather than a controlled, matched-phone test. Benchmark totals can vary with device memory, cooling, firmware, power limits, and the benchmark version. No sufficiently documented Geekbench or same-condition comparison for these exact platforms is established here, and the AnTuTu totals do not predict specific game frame rates.

What the specifications mean in a real phone

The 4 nm and 12 nm figures are manufacturer-stated process descriptions, not measurements of phone efficiency. Similarly, supported memory types, screen refresh rates, camera configurations, and charging features describe what a platform can support; handset makers decide which options to implement. A chip-only comparison therefore cannot determine which of two actual phones has better battery life, camera quality, display, or overall value.
