AceVector opened below its ₹32 IPO price on October 5, 2026: at ₹28.30 on BSE, an 11.56% discount, and ₹28.32 on NSE, an 11.50% discount. “About 12%” is a rounded description of those opening prices, not an exact figure shared by both exchanges.
What was AceVector’s listing price?
The opening prices reported by Business Standard were ₹28.30 on BSE and ₹28.32 on NSE, compared with the ₹32 issue price. The exchange-specific figures are:
| Exchange | October 5 opening price | IPO issue price | Opening discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| BSE | ₹28.30 | ₹32 | 11.56% |
| NSE | ₹28.32 | ₹32 | 11.50% |
These are historical opening prices for October 5, 2026—not live quotes. “Listing price” can also refer to a later point in the session: The Economic Times reported that AceVector closed at ₹26.10 on NSE that day. That closing figure should not be mistaken for either exchange’s opening price.

What was in the IPO?
The IPO was a ₹420 crore offer, consisting of a ₹287 crore fresh issue and a ₹133 crore offer for sale. The price band was ₹30–₹32 per share, the offer ran from September 25 to 29, 2026, and the reported lot size was 468 shares, according to Business Standard and The Economic Times.
The distinction between the two components matters: proceeds from the fresh issue go to the company, while proceeds from the offer for sale go to shareholders selling existing shares. The entire ₹420 crore should not be described as new capital raised by AceVector.

How was the fresh issue intended to be used?
Business Standard said fresh-issue proceeds were earmarked in part for marketplace marketing and promotion and technology infrastructure. Reuters’ September 22, 2026, pre-listing report, syndicated by Business Standard, also listed inorganic growth opportunities. These stated uses concern proceeds raised by the fresh issue; money from the offer for sale was for the selling shareholders.

The reports give several indicators, but they measure different things and should not be conflated. Reuters’ pre-listing coverage reported FY2026 revenue of ₹510 crore and a consolidated loss before exceptional items and tax of ₹37.555 crore. Separately, Business Standard reported FY24–FY26 revenue CAGR of 15.9% and SaaS-vertical CAGR of 40.5%. It also said adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed from ₹27 crore in FY24 to ₹16 crore in FY26. The adjusted EBITDA figures are not the same measure as the consolidated loss before exceptional items and tax.

Why did AceVector open below its issue price?
The listing-day reports establish the opening prices and offer context, but do not establish a single cause for the discount. Business Standard said grey-market expectations had pointed to a listing gain of roughly 3%; that was an expectation, not an exchange-traded price or a guarantee.
Ravi Singh, chief research officer at Master Capital Services, told Business Standard: “Fresh investments from investors might wait for price stability. The outlook will depend on the company’s ability to sustain growth, improve profitability and cash generation.” This is analyst commentary, not a company statement or a verified forecast.
