Searchable says Prompt Universe maps potential buyer questions about a brand and helps businesses choose which ones to track for AI visibility. Announced on September 30, 2026, the feature is being rolled out to existing Searchable customers; other companies can apply to view their version. Its launch figures describe modeled questions, not how often a brand appears in AI answers.
What Searchable Prompt Universe is designed to do
Prompt Universe is Searchable’s feature for finding candidate questions people might ask AI about a brand, its products, competitors, category, and buying situations. Searchable says it covers the journey from early research through comparison and purchase, then helps businesses select a focused set of questions for ongoing AI visibility tracking. The company says the aim is not to track every possible question.
How Searchable says it finds and organizes prompts
According to Searchable’s launch announcement, Prompt Universe builds candidate questions using several inputs:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- A brand’s own website.
- The language buyers use about the brand’s category.
- Where those buyers search online.
- Follow-up searches AI engines run when answering questions in that market.
Searchable says it tags each question by product, audience, competitor, location, and situation. Those dimensions could help a business inspect whether its tracking plan represents different offerings and buyer contexts rather than relying on a short list of guessed prompts.

The announcement describes these capabilities but does not publish a technical methods paper or independent validation. It also does not identify the AI engines or geographic coverage supported, so those are details to confirm with Searchable.
What the Delta Air Lines example actually measures
Searchable says its independent analysis of Delta Air Lines modeled more than 115,000 possible prompt permutations from 11 topics and 436 subtopics, using variables including buyer demographics, routes, and fare types. After filtering for questions it considered realistic for buyers, the analysis identified more than 33,000 prompts for consideration.
Rank #2
These numbers count modeled questions and filtered candidates. They do not measure Delta’s visibility, ranking, or performance in AI-generated answers. Searchable says Delta was not its customer and did not participate in the analysis.

How to interpret Searchable’s coverage claims
Searchable’s announcement says businesses moving from other providers can be tracking as little as 2% of relevant prompt coverage, and that many larger businesses track less than 0.3%. The company attributes those figures to its own experience; the release provides no sample, independent study, or methodology. They should therefore be read as vendor-reported claims, not established industry-wide statistics.
Rank #3
The launch announcement does not establish an ideal number of prompts for a brand. A large candidate universe is not, by itself, evidence that every candidate is useful: the practical question is whether the selected tracking set reflects commercially meaningful products, audiences, competitors, locations, and buying stages.
What to verify when assessing Prompt Universe
The launch release gives only a partial basis for comparing AI visibility tools. Before choosing a product or building a tracking plan, ask vendors the same questions:
Rank #4
- How are candidate prompts sourced, and can the business review or adjust those inputs?
- Does coverage extend across research, comparison, and purchase questions?
- Can prompts be segmented by relevant factors such as product, audience, competitor, location, and situation?
- How does the tool prioritize candidates instead of encouraging businesses to track an unwieldy volume?
- Which AI engines and geographies are supported?
- What evidence validates prompt coverage and reported visibility results?
- What are the price, access, and eligibility terms?
Searchable’s announcement addresses some prompt-sourcing, journey, segmentation, and prioritization claims, but it does not provide supported-engine details, validation evidence, pricing, or a performance comparison with other products.
