Check the model before relying on specifications
The exact SKU in the deal report is not identified. SanDisk’s official page for the SDSSDE61 family lists a 1TB model, SDSSDE61-1T00-G25, with up to 1050MB/s read and 1000MB/s write over USB 3.2 Gen 2. Those specifications belong to the SDSSDE61 family and should not be applied to the October deal listing unless its SKU is confirmed as that model.

SanDisk lists IP65 water and dust resistance, drop protection up to three meters, and a five-year limited warranty for the SDSSDE61 family. Confirm the exact model and its product documentation before using those figures to assess the deal drive. The speed claims also differ substantially: PCWorld attributes up to 2,000 MB/s to the newer deal product, while SanDisk’s cited SDSSDE61 page specifies lower read and write ceilings.

- Price and availability: Check whether the listing still shows $209.99 and whether the drive is in stock; both can change.
- Prime eligibility: Confirm whether the offer remains restricted to Prime members.
- Exact SKU: Compare the listing’s model number with the product page or packaging so specifications match the drive being sold.
- Host compatibility: For the reported 2,000 MB/s maximum, PCWorld says the connected device needs USB 3.2 Gen 2×2. A port with a lower capability will not reach that ceiling.
