Samsung’s November 2025 security update was first reported rolling out in South Korea to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 6. The Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Tab S11 were also reported as receiving it. That is an initial rollout, not confirmation that the update is available worldwide or on every carrier.
Which Samsung devices are receiving the November 2025 update?
Android Central reported on November 18, 2025, that Samsung had begun rolling out the patch in South Korea to these devices:
- Galaxy Z Fold 7
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
- Galaxy Z Flip 7
- Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy S25 series
- Galaxy Tab S11
The report names the S25 series and Tab S11 but does not establish that every regional or carrier variant received the update at the same time. Check the exact model and its local rollout rather than assuming availability from the device family alone. Android Central’s November 18, 2025 report
Why might the update not appear on your Galaxy yet?
Samsung releases security updates in stages. Availability can differ by country, carrier, device model and service version, so two owners of the same phone may see the update on different days. Samsung says patch release time may vary depending on the device version, model or service version. The South Korean rollout therefore does not establish a universal release date or worldwide completion. Samsung’s security update index

How to check for the November patch
- Open Settings on your Galaxy phone or tablet.
- Tap Software update.
- Tap Download and install.
- If an update is offered, follow the on-screen prompts. If none appears, your model or service version may not yet be included in the rollout.
What does the November patch include?
According to Android Central, the package combines fixes from Google, Samsung and Exynos-specific security work: 25 Google vulnerability fixes, five Exynos-specific fixes and nine Samsung Galaxy fixes—nearly 40 in total. These are the counts reported for the November package, not a guarantee that every device receives an identical build or changelog. Google’s November 2025 Android Security Bulletin is the upstream Android vulnerability reference; Google notes that manufacturers such as Samsung may publish device-specific details.
How Samsung security-update eligibility works
Samsung lists devices on monthly, quarterly or biannual security-update tracks. The schedule is device-specific, and a model’s appearance on a supported track does not mean each patch arrives on the same date in every market. Samsung says Galaxy support can extend up to seven years, but that is not a blanket promise for every Galaxy device; check the applicable model and support scope. Samsung’s security update scope page
