Check the current Samsung India listing and the final price for your chosen configuration before buying.

Which A-series configuration should you compare?
Galaxy A27 5G: the strongest documented price case
Samsung’s 30 June 2026 announcement lists the A27 5G with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and Knox/Knox Vault security. Samsung promises six Android OS/One UI upgrades and six years of security updates. Those are manufacturer specifications and support promises, not independent performance or battery-life test results. The listed prices are net effective figures after a ₹3,000 bank/UPI cashback; do not assume you qualify for that offer or that it remains available.
Choose storage based on what you keep on the phone: the listed 8GB/256GB version offers twice the storage of the 128GB configurations, while the cited announcement does not establish how current checkout prices compare. Samsung said the model would be sold through Samsung exclusive outlets, partner stores, Samsung.com, and other online platforms.

Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G: historical price points
Samsung’s 3 March 2025 India launch announcement listed the A56 5G at ₹41,999–₹47,999 and the A36 5G at ₹32,999–₹38,999 across the configurations in the table. Those are launch prices from 2025, not evidence of current October 2026 prices, offers, or availability. Samsung identified the A56 processor as Exynos 1580 and the A36 processor as Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The announcement also described launch storage-upgrade offers and Samsung Care+ screen-protection pricing; those launch promotions should not be treated as current offers.
Models that need a current India price check
Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G
Samsung’s global announcement dated 26 March 2026 gives specifications but no India prices in the cited material, so neither model can be certified here as under ₹70,000. Samsung describes 6.7-inch displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz: Super AMOLED+ on the A57 and Super AMOLED on the A37. Both have a 5,000mAh typical battery, an IP68 rating, and Samsung’s promise of up to six Android OS/One UI generations and up to six years of security updates. Confirm an India listing and price before considering either under this budget.

Galaxy S26 FE: above the budget at its announced price
Samsung India listed the 8GB/256GB Galaxy S26 FE at ₹79,999 on 14 September 2026, so it does not fit the stated ceiling at that announced price. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with refresh rates up to 120Hz, an Exynos 2500 processor, and a 4,900mAh typical battery. Its rear cameras are a 50MP wide camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Samsung states an IP68 rating under its lab conditions. Consider it within budget only if you verify a qualifying live price below ₹70,000.

- FIT EVERYONE IN THE SHOT: Group selfies are easier on your Samsung phone with a wider front camera⁴ that captures more of the scene, so no one gets left out of the moment
- Storage: If you keep many large files or apps locally, compare 128GB and 256GB versions and their actual price difference.
- Display: Check screen type, size, and refresh rate. The A27’s cited display is 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED; the A57/A37 global announcement also specifies 6.7-inch displays up to 120Hz, with different AMOLED types.
- Camera: Stabilization and optical zoom can matter more than headline megapixel counts. The cited S26 FE specification includes OIS on its wide and telephoto cameras and 3x optical zoom, but the phone is above budget at its announced price.
- Battery and charging: Battery capacity is not a measured runtime result. Check charging speed and independent tests for the exact model if those are decisive; the cited A27 information gives capacity but not charging details.
- Durability: An IP rating is useful only when stated for the specific model. The cited global A57/A37 announcement and India S26 FE announcement state IP68; the cited A27 and A36/A56 price information does not establish a rating.
- Software support: Compare the exact promise Samsung publishes for each model. A stated update period is a manufacturer commitment, not a guarantee about how quickly every update reaches every device or region.
What to verify before ordering
- Open Samsung India or the retailer you intend to use and confirm the model name, RAM/storage configuration, and whether the device is in stock.
- Check the final checkout price, including whether a bank/UPI cashback is conditional, when it is credited, and whether your payment method qualifies. The A27 figures cited here already account for Samsung’s stated ₹3,000 cashback.
- Confirm the seller, warranty terms, and return policy on the actual listing; the dated announcements do not establish current retailer terms.
- Compare the final price against other configurations and models rather than relying on an old launch price or an advertised “effective” price.
