Samsung’s Infinite One-Way Cassette AC is a premium ceiling-cassette air conditioner announced in India on 5 October 2026. It comes in Commercial Split and VRF configurations, with listed cooling capacities from 2.8 to 7.1 kW and a starting price of ₹160,000 including GST. Its headline features are WindFree airflow, nine Ambient Edge Lighting modes and built-in Wi-Fi for SmartThings control.
What is the Samsung Infinite AC?
The Infinite One-Way Cassette AC is an indoor climate system designed for premium residential and commercial spaces. Unlike a typical wall-mounted split AC, its cassette format is intended to integrate into a ceiling. Samsung announced two system configurations: Commercial Split (CAC) and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF). The launch announcement describes sales through commercial AC channel partners nationwide in India; ask a local authorized partner about current availability and project requirements. Samsung’s 5 October 2026 launch announcement does not establish availability through general online retailers.
Configurations and listed cooling capacities
| Configuration | Listed cooling capacities | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| VRF | 2.8, 3.6, 5.6 and 7.1 kW | Have an HVAC professional assess the building and project requirements before choosing a system or capacity. |
| Commercial Split (CAC) | 3.5, 5.2 and 7.1 kW | Ask the commercial AC partner to confirm the configuration, model-level specifications and installation requirements for your space. |
These are the capacities listed in Samsung’s announcement, not a recommendation for a particular room. The release does not provide a model-number table or enough installation detail to determine suitability from capacity alone.
How WindFree cooling is described
Samsung says the system disperses air through a wide outlet and micro-holes to deliver gentle, even airflow and help reduce cold drafts. Its official materials give conflicting counts: the 5 October launch announcement says 17,000 micro-holes, while a 16 September Samsung India article gives 17,200 for the Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC. The exact count is therefore unresolved; neither figure should be treated as a confirmed specification without clarification from Samsung. 5 October launch announcement · 16 September announcement

Ambient Edge Lighting: nine modes
The unit’s edge lighting offers nine modes inspired by the human day-night cycle, according to Samsung. Warm, Natural and Cool options each have High and Low intensity settings, alongside Smart Lighting Intensity mode. This describes the product’s lighting design and controls; it does not establish a health or circadian benefit.
SmartThings control and connected features
Samsung says built-in Wi-Fi connects the AC to the SmartThings app without an additional module. Listed features include voice control, lighting control, Welcome Cooling, energy monitoring, usage patterns, AI Comfort Mode and Pet Care. The launch announcement does not spell out which functions depend on the specific configuration, market, app setup or other conditions, so confirm the features available for the model you are considering.

Filter claim and what it means
Samsung says its Copper Anti-Bacterial Filter captures airborne particles and helps reduce certain bacteria by up to 99%. That figure is based on an Intertek test of a filter unit—not a specific AC model—using KS K 0693:2016, named strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae, and an 18-hour test. Samsung cautions that results may vary with environmental factors and individual use. The test result does not establish whole-room pathogen removal or a clinical health outcome. Exterior and dimensions
Samsung describes an ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) exterior and a profile depth of 13.8 cm. Check the installation drawings and required ceiling clearances with a commercial AC partner before planning a project; the launch announcement alone does not provide a full installation specification.

Price and where to buy
Samsung announced a starting price of ₹160,000 inclusive of GST for the series in India. The company says the system is available through commercial AC channel partners nationwide. Treat the figure as the announced starting price, not a quote for every configuration or an installed project total; confirm current price, stock, installation scope and model-specific details with a local partner. Samsung’s launch materials do not establish an Amazon listing for this cassette system.
