Samsung’s F70e launch announcement and M17e launch announcement supply the models’ dates and support terms. Some fine-grained hardware details above, including the M17e’s panel type and camera breakdown, come from the 91mobiles side-by-side comparison, rather than the official launch summaries.
What is the launch price difference?
At the 4GB+128GB configuration, the F70e had a ₹12,499 net effective launch price including bank cashback, compared with ₹13,999 for the M17e. That made the F70e ₹1,500 lower on the stated launch terms. At 6GB+128GB, Samsung listed the F70e at ₹13,999 and the M17e at ₹15,499, also a ₹1,500 gap. Samsung additionally mentioned a limited-period ₹500 launch offer for the F70e; the stated end date and eligibility are not established here.

Where do the phones differ in practice?
Launch timing and sales channels
Samsung announced the F70e on 9 February 2026; its sale was stated to begin on 17 February. The M17e announcement followed on 18 March, with sale stated to begin on 20 March. At launch, Samsung named Samsung.com, Flipkart, and select retail stores for the F70e, and Samsung.com, Amazon, and select retail stores for the M17e. Those are launch-channel details, not confirmation of present inventory.
Software support wording
Samsung described the M17e as receiving six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. For the F70e, Samsung stated six years of OS and security updates. Both claims indicate extended support, but the wording differs; they should not be treated as identical promises about the number of OS upgrades.

Display, cameras, and battery
The available comparison lists the same basic display figures for both: 6.7 inches and a 120Hz refresh rate, with HD+ LCD identified by 91mobiles. It also lists matching camera hardware—50MP main and 2MP depth rear cameras plus an 8MP front camera—and 6,000mAh batteries. Matching specifications do not establish equal photo quality, screen behavior, or battery endurance; no comparable independent tests are available here.

- Choose based on the live same-configuration deal: compare 4GB+128GB against 4GB+128GB, or 6GB+128GB against 6GB+128GB. Include cashback only when the payment method and eligibility terms work for you.
- Check the exact listing: confirm the model name, RAM, storage, seller, warranty terms, delivery availability, and final checkout price.
- Compare finish and availability: the F70e launch promoted a leather finish, but your preferred color or finish and current availability depend on the specific listing.
- Do not buy on an assumed performance advantage: the shared listed processor, battery capacity, and camera resolutions do not show that either phone is faster, lasts longer, or takes better photos.
Samsung’s F70e launch release also reported that its India support network included more than 3,300 service centres and touchpoints. This is Samsung’s company-reported figure, not an independent audit, and it does not by itself establish how convenient service will be in a particular location.
