The Galaxy A56 5G is the stronger fit if you value a higher-resolution Super AMOLED display, a more versatile rear-camera setup and Samsung’s stated long-term update commitment. The OnePlus N6 is the battery-and-charging choice: OnePlus specifies an 8,000 mAh typical battery and 45W charging. Both are listed with 120Hz displays, so refresh rate alone does not decide this comparison. The prices below are dated third-party snapshots, not guaranteed current offers.

Display: A56 has the clearer documented advantage

The A56’s India comparison listing specifies a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel at 1080 × 2340 with a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung’s stated diagonal measurement is across the display’s full rectangle, so the viewable area is slightly smaller around the rounded corners.

The N6 is also listed at 120Hz, but the cited details do not establish its panel type, resolution, size or brightness. Both phones therefore share a stated refresh rate; the available specifications favor the A56 for shoppers prioritizing documented resolution and display technology. They do not support a complete brightness or side-by-side image-quality comparison.

Cameras: more listed options on the Galaxy A56

The third-party comparison lists three rear cameras on the A56—a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro—against a 50MP main camera on the N6. Samsung’s India product information also describes the 12MP ultrawide as having a 123-degree field of view and says the main camera has optical image stabilization (OIS).

(No U.S. manufacturer warranty; Seller Return policy applies.)

That makes the A56 the more clearly documented option for different rear-camera perspectives. The cited N6 information does not establish its full camera configuration, stabilization or video capabilities, so megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos or video.

Battery and charging: OnePlus specifies the larger capacity

OnePlus gives the N6 battery as 8,000 mAh typical and 7,780 mAh rated, and advertises 45W SuperVOOC charging. OnePlus also describes it as “3 days of power,” but that is a company claim, not a guaranteed runtime: its qualification says battery experience varies with network, apps, usage, device age and settings. Its lab-derived figures should not be read as a direct A56 comparison.

The cited materials do not provide a comparable A56 battery capacity or charging rate. On the evidence available here, the N6 has the explicit capacity and charging advantage; a direct endurance or charging-time verdict is not established.

Software support and durability

Update commitment

Samsung states that the Galaxy A56 5G is eligible for up to six generations of OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. These are Samsung’s stated terms; “up to” matters, and support can depend on regional conditions. OnePlus’s cited launch information says the N6 shipped with OxygenOS 16 but does not provide a comparable support-duration commitment.

Protection claims

OnePlus says the N6 is IP65 rated and MIL-STD-810H certified. Those are the manufacturer’s stated ratings and certification; they do not establish that the phone is waterproof or immune to damage. The cited A56 comparison details do not establish a directly comparable durability rating.

Those snapshots imply a difference of ₹10,000 using Smartprix’s figures, or ₹12,000 using the cited 91mobiles A56 figure against its N6 figure. Neither difference should be treated as a stable market gap. Check the live listing for the precise variant, seller, discounts and availability before deciding on price.
