Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G has the higher listed resolution and slightly larger screen: 2712 × 1220 across 6.67 inches, versus the A35’s 1080 × 2340 across 6.6 inches. Those specifications do not settle photo quality. Megapixel counts alone cannot show how well a phone handles focus, exposure, color, detail, low light, or motion. To pick a camera winner, compare reliable side-by-side photo and video tests using the types of scenes you shoot.
Which one charges faster, and which lasts longer?
Xiaomi lists a 5100 mAh typical battery and 67 W charging for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. The Samsung page used for this comparison does not state a comparable battery-capacity or runtime figure. The Redmi therefore has the clearer listed charging specification, but capacity and charging wattage do not prove real-world battery life or the time either phone takes to reach a particular charge level.

Which phone has stronger water and dust resistance?
The Samsung UK listing gives the Galaxy A35 5G an IP67 rating, while Xiaomi India lists IP54 for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. On these cited specifications, Samsung has the higher ingress-protection rating. That is not a guarantee against every liquid exposure, accident, or form of damage, and the ratings should not be treated as permission to deliberately submerge either phone.

Xiaomi warns that the Redmi’s dustproof and waterproof functions are not permanent and that protection may diminish with daily wear. Check the rating and warranty terms for the exact model sold in your country.
Which phone is promised longer software support?
Samsung Latin America says the A35 5G is eligible for up to four generations of OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates. Xiaomi India lists three major Android updates and four years of security-patch updates for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. The cited Samsung commitment is longer, but these are regional manufacturer statements; the timing and applicable terms for a phone purchased elsewhere may differ.

Is the Galaxy A35 or Redmi Note 13 Pro faster?
Xiaomi identifies the Redmi’s processor as the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The cited Samsung UK page lists octa-core CPU speeds of 2.4 GHz and 2 GHz but does not identify the chipset in the information used here. Those details are not enough to make a reliable speed comparison: clock speeds and chipset names alone do not establish how the phones perform in games, apps, or sustained workloads. If performance is a priority, look for comparable benchmarks of the exact regional models.

Choose the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G if
- You value its higher listed screen resolution.
- The 67 W wired-charging specification matters to you.
- You prefer the higher main-camera megapixel specification, while understanding it does not prove better photos.
Choose the Galaxy A35 5G if
- You prioritize the longer update commitment stated in Samsung’s Latin America product material.
- The IP67 rating on Samsung’s UK listing is more relevant to your needs than the IP54 rating on Xiaomi India’s listing.
- You want the Samsung model and its regional warranty or ecosystem features, after checking the version sold locally.
Neither set of specifications establishes a universal winner for image quality, endurance, speed, or value. For a price-based decision, compare offers in the same country for equivalent storage, warranty, seller, and regional model. Before ordering, verify the local SKU, carrier-band support, RAM and storage configuration, included accessories, warranty, and current software-support terms.
