Robinhood’s developer documentation describes Robinhood Chain as live, and its ecosystem directory currently lists projects and services for trading, lending, bridging, analytics, custody, and more. The directory is not a live-status checker or a safety endorsement. To index the chain, choose mainnet or testnet, connect through an EVM-compatible RPC provider, and select current RPC reads, archive access, or an indexed data API according to the data your application needs.

What is Robinhood Chain, and is it live?

Robinhood Chain is an EVM-compatible Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum Dedicated Blockchains. Robinhood says it uses Ethereum blobs for data availability and ETH for gas, and is designed for tokenized real-world assets and other financial instruments. Its current developer overview says the chain is live: Robinhood Chain developer overview.

Robinhood’s February 10, 2026 announcement described the earlier public-testnet launch phase ahead of a future mainnet launch. That dated announcement is not the current status; the developer documentation now describes the network as live. See the February 10, 2026 testnet announcement.

Which apps and services are listed on Robinhood Chain?

Robinhood’s official overview lists the following projects and service providers. These are directory entries, not proof that every product is currently usable in every location or that it has been independently audited. Robinhood’s ecosystem directory also says listing does not imply endorsement, partnership, affiliation, sponsorship, or warranty, and disclaims assurances about safety, legitimacy, or suitability. Check each project’s own documentation for current availability and supported functions.

How do I connect to Robinhood Chain?

Use the network settings for the environment you intend to use. The mainnet and testnet have different chain IDs and explorers. ETH is the gas token on both. Robinhood Wallet supports the chain natively; other EVM-compatible wallets can add it using the published network configuration.

Network Chain ID Gas token Explorer Public RPC
Mainnet 4663 ETH robinhoodchain.blockscout.com https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com (rate-limited; not recommended for production)
Testnet 46630 ETH explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com Not stated in the cited support article
  1. Choose mainnet or testnet. Confirm the application, wallet, or contract you plan to use is intended for that environment.
  2. Configure an EVM-compatible client. Enter the matching chain ID and use an RPC endpoint. Robinhood’s connection documentation gives Alchemy RPC and WebSocket endpoint patterns that require an API key, and names Chainstack, QuickNode, Blockdaemon, dRPC, Validation Cloud, and GlobalStake as other infrastructure options.
  3. Use the appropriate endpoint for your workload. The public mainnet RPC is rate-limited and Robinhood does not recommend it for production. For production, use a provider endpoint and check that provider’s current terms, limits, and coverage.

Robinhood also documents the network connection options and full-node path. Network configuration details and provider availability can change, so consult the current developer docs before deploying.

How do I move funds onto Robinhood Chain?

Robinhood says users can bridge ETH and supported ERC-20 tokens through the canonical Arbitrum bridge or partner routes. Confirm the destination network and token support before confirming a transfer; a token or route available on one network may not be available on another. Robinhood’s support page covers connecting to Robinhood Chain and moving funds.

Robinhood Chain operates independently of brokerage and Robinhood crypto accounts. On-chain activity does not change balances or portfolios in those accounts. Testnet tokens are for development and testing and have no real-world value.

How do I index Robinhood Chain?

Start by deciding whether you need recent blockchain reads, historical access, or application-ready indexed data. Robinhood documents managed RPC, archive endpoints, indexed APIs, and a self-operated full-node option, but does not publish a universal provider ranking or comparative figures for price, latency, retention, or completeness.

Approach Useful for What to verify
Managed RPC or WebSocket Ordinary JSON-RPC reads and writes, including building an application against the chain. Rate limits, reliability, supported methods, and provider terms. Robinhood says its public RPC endpoints are rate-limited and not recommended for production.
Archive endpoint Historical reads and indexers that need older chain state or data. Historical-query depth, archive coverage, retention, and limits for the exact queries you require. Robinhood names Alchemy as an example.
Indexed data API Retrieving higher-level data such as balances, transaction history, NFTs, and portfolio activity without building every data pipeline yourself. Which entities and fields are indexed, coverage and update behavior, retention, and API limits. Robinhood describes Alchemy Data API capabilities but does not establish coverage guarantees.
Run a full node Teams seeking direct data access and more independence from a managed API. Operational requirements, synchronization, storage, monitoring, and the historical data available from the node configuration you choose.
  1. Select the environment. Use mainnet chain ID 4663 for production data or testnet chain ID 46630 for development and testing.
  2. Choose the access method. Use managed RPC for standard reads and writes; choose an archive endpoint for historical queries, or an indexed API if its supported data matches your application.
  3. Specify the data your indexer needs. Identify contracts, event signatures, block ranges, and whether you need decoded events, balances, transactions, NFTs, or other derived records.
  4. Confirm coverage before depending on it. Ask the provider whether its archive and historical-query support covers the chain and block range, and validate that indexed fields and update behavior meet your needs. Robinhood’s documentation does not guarantee a particular provider’s coverage.
  5. Check production terms and constraints. Verify rate limits, reliability commitments, pricing, retention, and any API-key requirements directly with the provider. Robinhood’s cited documentation does not compare these across services.

Robinhood’s developer overview describes Alchemy’s RPC, WebSocket, archive, and Data API options and provides a full-node path. Review the current developer documentation for the exact endpoint pattern and setup steps.

Is the testnet still available?

Yes. Robinhood’s support documentation says the testnet remains available for development and testing. Its chain ID is 46630, and its explorer is explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com. Testnet tokens have no real-world value, so do not treat them as mainnet assets. See Robinhood’s Robinhood Chain support information.
