Which ring makes more sense for your priorities?
Choose RingConn Gen 3 to avoid a recurring fee
RingConn positions Gen 3 as a subscription-free ring. That can make it the better fit if you want to avoid an ongoing charge, particularly if you expect to keep the ring for several years. Its official pages showed different prices—$349 starting on the comparison page and $369 on the product listing—and the listing showed out of stock when accessed. Treat those as page displays, not a guaranteed current price or availability.
Choose Oura Ring 4 for Oura’s membership-backed app
Oura’s documented feature set includes sleep analysis, heart-rate tracking, temperature monitoring, oxygen sensing, activity, stress, cardiovascular-age and cardio-capacity features, and women’s health features. Some require an active Oura Membership. Oura lists US membership at $5.99 monthly or $69.99 annually before tax; prices differ by region. Without active membership, Oura says users retain three daily scores—Readiness, Activity and Sleep—plus battery information, basic profile details, app settings and Explore content. The ring is not entirely without app information, but detailed insights are limited.

Battery life: compare the claims carefully
RingConn Gen 3
RingConn advertises up to 14 days of battery life in its comparison table and gives an 11–14-day range on its product page. These are manufacturer specifications, not an independent test. RingConn also lists vibration as a Gen 3 feature, so enabled functions and settings may affect the experience; the published range does not provide a matched test against Oura.

Oura Ring 4
Oura estimates 5–8 days for Ring 4 based on tests of new, unworn rings in sizes 8–10. In those tests, the rings were worn throughout the day, with one hour of daily activity heart-rate capture, blood oxygen sensing disabled and eight hours of sleep tracking. Oura says blood oxygen sensing may reduce battery life by up to two days; frequent activity capture can also shorten it. Actual battery life varies with ring size, features, use and battery age.
Because the companies describe different evidence and do not provide a controlled comparison, the published ranges cannot establish how long either ring will last in identical real-world use.

What each ring tracks—and what the claims do not prove
Oura Ring 4: a broad set of documented app features
Oura describes Ring 4 as using Smart Sensing and sensors for blood oxygen during sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, respiration, temperature variation and movement or activity. Its support documentation also lists sleep analysis, stress, cardiovascular and women’s health features. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independent proof of clinical accuracy.
RingConn Gen 3: vascular-health trends, not blood-pressure readings
RingConn promotes vascular-health insights and smart vibration alerts alongside continuous health tracking. Its Gen 3 FAQ states: “Gen 3 provides vascular health trend insights, not single readings.” Do not interpret that feature as a blood-pressure measurement or a diagnosis of hypertension.

Neither is established as more accurate overall
The available product specifications and battery information do not establish a head-to-head accuracy winner. If your choice depends on medical monitoring or a specific health condition, assess evidence for that exact measurement or use case; consumer wellness insights are not a diagnosis.
Quick Recap
Fit and practical purchase checks
- Use the correct sizing kit. RingConn lists Gen 3 sizes 6–15 and warns that its sizing differs from other RingConn models, standard ring sizes and other smart-ring brands. Oura Ring 4 sizes run from 4–15. Follow each manufacturer’s guidance and use the kit for the specific generation before ordering.
- Confirm price and stock. RingConn’s comparison and product pages showed different prices, and its product page displayed out-of-stock status when accessed. Check the live listing before making a decision.
- Check membership pricing for your region. Oura’s quoted US prices are $5.99 monthly or $69.99 annually before tax; regional prices differ. Confirm the amount and renewal terms shown for your account.
- Consider charging and water use. Oura lists Ring 4 as water-resistant to 100 m/328 ft and says charging typically takes 20–80 minutes, depending on charge level. These specifications do not mean it is suitable for every diving or impact scenario.
Bottom line by buyer type
- Pick RingConn Gen 3 if no recurring subscription is your main requirement and its manufacturer-stated battery range suits your expectations. Verify current price and stock first.
- Pick Oura Ring 4 if you value its membership-backed sleep, activity, stress, cardiovascular and women’s health app features enough to accept the ongoing fee.
- Do not choose based on an assumed accuracy winner. The cited product information does not provide a comparative clinical-accuracy result.
