The LSA excludes misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repair or modification, and consumable accessories such as blades, bits, and sandpaper. Although batteries are among the eligible product types, that does not mean every battery is automatically covered: the applicable model eligibility and registration requirements still matter.
Full Lifetime Warranty for RIDGID hand tools
RIDGE Tool Company’s Full Lifetime Warranty covers RIDGID-branded tools against defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the tool. Limited Lifetime Warranty for listed concrete and tile tools
A separate Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to enumerated RIDGID concrete, masonry, and tile hand tools, covering defects in materials and workmanship during the usable life of the original product subject to the policy’s conditions. The named families include trowels, bucket scoops, floats, groovers, edgers, lippage systems, spacers, scrapers, nippers, hole saws, tile files, grout saw blades, scoring knives, miter trim cutters and replacement blades, knee pads, grout and tile brushes, gauges, mallets, suction cups, and tapes. Do I need to register RIDGID power tools?
For the U.S. LSA, yes: the original purchaser must register an eligible product within 90 days and provide proof of purchase. Buying a qualifying-looking model is not enough by itself. Confirm the model’s eligibility and keep the receipt and registration confirmation. RIDGID’s stated qualifying purchase channel is The Home Depot, so do not assume a purchase from another seller qualifies for the LSA.
