To improve Riders Republic’s frame rate, compare your PC with Ubisoft’s target for your resolution, run the game’s built-in benchmark, then lower or adjust a few graphics settings and benchmark again. There is no verified universal preset or guaranteed FPS gain: the useful result is the change measured on your own system.
Check whether your PC matches your resolution target
Ubisoft’s system requirements, updated June 29, 2026, give separate target configurations for 1080p, 1440p and 2160p. These are publisher targets, not independent test results or a guarantee that every scene will hold the listed frame rate. A mismatch is a clue to investigate, not proof of what causes an individual slowdown.
| Ubisoft target | CPU | Graphics card | Memory | Other requirements |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum: 1080p at 30 FPS | AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-4460 or better; SSE 4.2 and AVX2 support or higher | AMD Radeon RX 470 (4 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB) or better | 8 GB dual-channel | Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; DirectX 12; 32 GB available storage |
| Recommended: 1080p at 60 FPS | AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i7-4790 or better; SSE 4.2 and AVX2 support or higher | AMD Radeon RX 570 (8 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or better | 16 GB dual-channel | Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; DirectX 12; 32 GB available storage |
| Recommended 2K: 1440p at 60 FPS | Intel Core i5-9600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600; SSE 4.2 and AVX2 support or higher | AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6 GB) or better | 16 GB dual-channel | DirectX 12; 32 GB available storage |
| Recommended 4K: 2160p at 60 FPS | Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X; SSE 4.2 and AVX2 support or higher | AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8 GB) or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super (8 GB) or better | 16 GB dual-channel | DirectX 12; 32 GB available storage |
Ubisoft says laptop graphics cards may work if their performance is similar to the minimum requirements. Compare your CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, DirectX version and free storage with the target that matches your resolution and goal. The detailed current configurations are in Ubisoft’s Riders Republic system requirements.
Use the in-game benchmark to test changes
Ubisoft confirms that Riders Republic includes a PC benchmark that tests the game using your current settings. Use it to compare changes rather than assuming a setting will improve performance on every PC.

- Choose a goal. Decide whether you are aiming for 1080p, 1440p or 2160p and a particular frame rate, then compare your PC with the corresponding Ubisoft target above.
- Record a baseline. Run the in-game benchmark with your current settings and note its result. Keep the resolution and other conditions the same for the next run.
- Adjust a small group of settings. Change a few graphics options, not everything at once, so you can tell which changes correlate with a difference.
- Run the same benchmark again. Compare the result and decide whether the performance change is worth the visual difference. If it is not, restore the settings and test a different group.
This controlled comparison is a practical way to use the benchmark; Ubisoft confirms the tool and its current-settings behavior, but does not prescribe this exact sequence. Its PC troubleshooting guidance for Riders Republic also covers support escalation.
Which graphics settings should you test first?
A Ubisoft-published settings video from October 28, 2021 names these options as settings to inspect: shadows, terrain, grass, reflections, snowtrail, water, anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion, anisotropic filtering and motion blur. Treat that list as a starting point, not a current ranking of performance cost. The available evidence does not establish the FPS savings from lowering any individual option.

- NVIDIA Ampere Streaming Multiprocessors: The all-new Ampere SM brings 2X the FP32 throughput and improved power efficiency.
- 2nd Generation RT Cores: Experience 2X the throughput of 1st gen RT Cores, plus concurrent RT and shading for a whole new level of ray-tracing performance.
- 3rd Generation Tensor Cores: Get up to 2X the throughput with structural sparsity and advanced AI algorithms such as DLSS. These cores deliver a massive boost in game performance and all-new AI capabilities.
- Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure.
- OC Mode : 1500 MHz (Boost Clock)/Default Mode : 1470 MHz (Boost Clock)
- Test settings in small groups and rerun the benchmark after each change.
- Compare both the benchmark result and the image quality you prefer.
- Do not assume that disabling a particular option will produce a fixed FPS increase or solve stuttering on every system.

Diagnose stuttering without confusing it with network trouble
First note when the stutter occurs: consistently, in a particular situation, or only during high-activity multiplayer. Riders Republic supports more than 50 players simultaneously on screen, according to Ubisoft’s official game page. If symptoms seem tied to a busy multiplayer session, compare with a quieter or solo context as an observation. The player count is not evidence that other players cause stutter, and changing online settings is not an established fix.

- Military-grade components deliver rock-solid power and longer lifespan for ultimate durability. Compatibility: 348mm (13.7") length, 3.6 slots, 4.3 lbs. Confirm case clearance and slot spacing. GPU bracket included.
- Protective PCB coating helps protect against short circuits caused by moisture, dust, or debris
- 3.6-slot design with massive fin array optimized for airflow from three Axial-tech fans
- Phase-change GPU thermal pad helps ensure optimal thermal performance and longevity, outlasting traditional thermal paste for graphics cards under heavy loads
Also distinguish low frame rate from connectivity problems. A network issue can make online play feel disrupted without demonstrating that graphics performance is poor; Ubisoft provides separate connectivity troubleshooting. Avoid treating a connection symptom as proof that a graphics setting needs to change.

If your benchmark remains disappointing or stuttering persists after comparing settings, follow Ubisoft’s technical troubleshooting guidance. Ubisoft asks players contacting support to provide DxDiag and MSInfo reports, which contain system information that can help support investigate the PC-specific issue. The official troubleshooting article is Ubisoft’s PC troubleshooting guidance for Riders Republic.
Which system requirements should you trust?
Use Ubisoft Help’s June 29, 2026 requirements as the current baseline. Older Ubisoft Store and Steam listings differ: the older figures include Windows 10-only listings, lower recommended RAM, and storage amounts that do not match the updated Help article. Avoid combining those older storefront figures with the current resolution-specific targets. The older listings are available from the Ubisoft Store and Steam.
