Which models are being compared?
This is a comparison of the India-market REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and realme P3 Ultra 5G. Redmi Note 15 Pro specifications and prices can differ by region, so do not assume another market’s model is identical. realme described the P3 Ultra as India-exclusive in its 10 March 2025 announcement, ahead of its 19 March 2025 debut: realme’s India launch announcement.

Performance: realme specifies the higher-tier chipset
Xiaomi specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra for the Redmi; realme specifies a Dimensity 8350 Ultra for the P3 Ultra. Those model names point to different chipset tiers, but they do not by themselves establish how the phones compare in sustained gaming, heat, everyday responsiveness or battery efficiency. realme says its laboratory testing produced an AnTuTu score above 1,450,000. That is a company-reported result, not an independently measured comparison with the Redmi, and benchmark scores can depend on test conditions and software versions. Treat it as a manufacturer claim rather than proof of a real-world speed advantage.
Display: flat 1.5K or curved 2800 × 1272?
Both phones have a 6.83-inch-class AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. Xiaomi describes the Redmi panel as flat and 1.5K; realme gives the P3 Ultra’s resolution as 2800 × 1272 and uses a curved screen.

The practical distinction is the screen shape as well as the resolution label. A flat panel may suit someone who prefers fewer curved edges, while the P3 Ultra is the option for a curved-screen feel. Resolution figures and marketing labels are not a substitute for comparing brightness, color accuracy or outdoor readability; no independent display measurements are established here.
Cameras: 200MP versus 50MP does not settle photo quality
The Redmi’s listed main camera has 200MP resolution and optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside an 8MP ultrawide. realme lists a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 16MP selfie camera. Xiaomi lists 4K recording; realme’s 10 March 2025 launch announcement says the P3 Ultra supports 4K/60fps.

The Redmi has the higher stated main-camera resolution, but megapixels alone cannot predict detail, low-light performance, motion handling or color. Sensor processing, lens quality and software matter too. Without matched photo and video testing, there is no substantiated overall camera winner; consider the stated hardware a starting point, not a quality verdict.
Battery and charging: more stated capacity or higher charging wattage?
Xiaomi lists a 6580mAh battery and 45W charging for the Redmi. realme lists the P3 Ultra at 6000mAh typical capacity and 5860mAh rated capacity, with 80W charging. Its listed box contents include an 80W adapter and a protective case.

The Redmi has the larger stated capacity, while the P3 Ultra has the higher charging rating and a specified adapter in the box. Neither capacity nor charging wattage alone tells you how long a phone lasts or how quickly it charges from a given starting level: no matched endurance or charging-time test is established here.

The cited official P3 Ultra information does not state a directly comparable update-support period, so the available evidence does not establish that commitment.

Protection ratings describe specified test conditions; they are not a promise that a phone is damage-proof. Check the manufacturers’ warranty terms for how liquid or physical damage is handled rather than treating an IP rating as warranty coverage.
Price difference: the available snapshot is not a live comparison
A 91mobiles comparison result displayed Amazon offers of ₹31,999 for each phone. On that snapshot alone, the displayed difference is ₹0. It does not establish today’s selling prices, matching RAM and storage configurations, stock, or discount eligibility. realme also notes that prices and availability can vary by market on its specifications page.
Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage capacity on the live listings, confirm the seller and delivery region, and include any bank or exchange offer only if you qualify for it. A price difference based on different configurations or conditional discounts can make one phone look cheaper without being a like-for-like comparison.
Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G if the higher-resolution listed main camera, larger stated battery, flat display or Xiaomi’s explicit update commitment matters most to you.
- Choose the realme P3 Ultra 5G if you prefer its specified Dimensity 8350 Ultra chipset, curved display or 80W charging setup with an adapter listed in the box.
- Compare current listings before deciding on price. The matching ₹31,999 figures are from one comparison snapshot, not a verified current price check.
These are specification-based trade-offs, not results from independent head-to-head testing. Real-world speed, camera quality, battery life and charging time remain unverified in a controlled comparison.
