The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is the lower-priced option in the cited comparison, while the OnePlus Nord 6 lists a faster-refresh display, a larger battery and faster charging. In a 91mobiles comparison listing accessed October 4, 2026, the phones were priced at ₹31,999 and ₹46,999 respectively—a listed difference of ₹15,000. These are third-party comparison prices, not confirmed live checkout prices.
For the India-market models, the Redmi’s strongest listed advantages are its 200MP main-camera specification and multiple stated ingress-protection ratings. The Nord’s headline strengths are its 165Hz screen and 9000mAh battery. Neither specification sheet establishes which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in independent use.
Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G vs OnePlus Nord 6: specifications at a glance
This comparison uses Xiaomi India’s Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G page and OnePlus India’s Nord 6 page. Specifications, warranty terms and included accessories can differ by region, so these details should not be generalized to international versions.

Display brightness figures are not directly comparable: Xiaomi’s figure is a peak-brightness claim, while OnePlus specifies HDR brightness. Maximum refresh rate is also a panel specification, not a guarantee that every app or game will run at that rate.

Which phone has the better display?
Choose the Nord 6 for the higher listed refresh rate
OnePlus lists a 165Hz refresh rate for the Nord 6, compared with 120Hz for the Redmi. A higher ceiling can make supported scrolling or compatible games look smoother, but actual refresh behaviour depends on the app, game and phone settings. It does not prove a performance advantage in every task.
The Redmi has a slightly higher listed resolution
Xiaomi specifies 2772 × 1280 pixels on a 17.35cm display; OnePlus specifies 2772 × 1272 pixels on a 17.23cm display. Both are described as 1.5K AMOLED panels. Their brightness figures use different contexts, so the listed 3200-nit peak figure for the Redmi should not be treated as a direct win over the Nord’s 1800-nit HDR figure.

How do their cameras compare?
Redmi: higher-resolution main camera and an ultra-wide
Xiaomi lists a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The India page also specifies 4K recording.
Nord 6: 50MP main camera and a specified front camera
OnePlus lists a 50MP Sony main camera with dual-axis OIS and 4K video at 60fps. It also specifies a 32MP front camera with a multi-focus sensor. The cited Xiaomi page does not state a front-camera specification, so this comparison cannot establish a like-for-like selfie-camera advantage.

Megapixel count alone does not determine photo quality. These manufacturer specifications do not provide independent image comparisons, so they cannot show which phone produces better photos in daylight, at night or in video.
Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?
The Nord 6 has the larger listed battery and higher charging wattage: OnePlus specifies 9000mAh and 80W, while Xiaomi specifies 6580mAh and 45W for the Redmi. Both manufacturers also list wired reverse charging: 27W for the Nord and up to 22.5W for the Redmi.

Those capacities and charging ratings do not establish real-world screen time or charging duration. Xiaomi describes the Redmi battery as having a six-year life and publishes its own runtime claims; OnePlus also publishes runtime estimates under its own conditions. Treat these as manufacturer claims rather than a controlled comparison between the phones.

Water and dust resistance
Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Redmi, along with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a TÜV water-resistance endurance certification. The cited OnePlus page excerpt describes the Nord 6 as robust but does not establish a specific IP rating. That absence is not proof that the phone has no rating; it means the cited material does not support claiming that the two phones offer equal protection.

Android versions and update support
Xiaomi’s India page identifies HyperOS 3 on Android 15 and states “4+6 years updates.” For the Nord 6, the listed Android 16 version and four years of OS updates plus six years of security updates come from 91mobiles, not the cited OnePlus page. Confirm OnePlus’s official support commitment before making a purchase based on update longevity.
What is the price difference in India?
The 91mobiles comparison listing accessed October 4, 2026 showed ₹31,999 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and ₹46,999 for the OnePlus Nord 6. Subtracting those listed figures gives a ₹15,000 gap, with the Redmi lower. The listing is third-party pricing, not a verified official or live retailer checkout quote; it does not establish that the prices refer to matching storage configurations or remain available now.
OnePlus says its Nord 6 launch comparisons in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 India segment were factual at launch on April 7, 2026. That is the manufacturer’s stated launch context, not a substitute for checking current prices.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if
- You want the lower listed price in the cited comparison and are comfortable checking the current variant and checkout price before buying.
- You value the specified 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and the durability ratings stated on Xiaomi’s India page.
- A 120Hz display and 45W charging meet your needs.
Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if
- You prioritize the higher listed 165Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 8-series positioning; the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 detail comes from 91mobiles.
- You want the larger specified 9000mAh battery and 80W charging, while recognizing that capacity alone cannot predict your runtime.
- The listed 50MP main camera, 4K 60fps video and specified 32MP front camera suit your requirements better than a higher megapixel headline.
On the evidence available here, the Redmi is the value-focused choice by the cited price snapshot, while the Nord’s listed hardware emphasizes refresh rate, battery capacity and charging speed. A decisive camera, endurance or gaming-performance winner would require independent testing rather than a comparison of manufacturer specifications alone.
