Which has the better display?
The Note 17 Pro 5G has the larger listed panel: 6.83 inches versus 6.67 inches. Xiaomi lists both as AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Their exact listed resolutions are 2772 × 1280 for the Note 17 Pro and 2712 × 1220 for the Note 13 Pro+, both in the 1.5K class.
The larger screen may suit people who prefer more viewing area, while the Note 13 Pro+ is the smaller of these two phones. The specifications alone do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy, outdoor legibility, or overall display quality.

Camera hardware: 200MP versus 50MP
Xiaomi Spain lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) on the Note 13 Pro+, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro camera. Xiaomi Mexico lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide on the Note 17 Pro 5G.
The Note 13 Pro+ has the higher main-camera megapixel count and a listed macro camera; that does not by itself show which phone produces better photos. Megapixels are not a substitute for controlled comparisons of image detail, exposure, color, low-light performance, video, or processing. The cited Xiaomi pages provide hardware specifications, not independent comparative photo results.

Battery capacity and charging speed
Xiaomi lists a typical 5000mAh battery and 120W HyperCharge for the Note 13 Pro+. For the Note 17 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mexico lists an 8340mAh typical silicon-carbon battery and 67W HyperCharge. The stated capacity is substantially higher on the Note 17 Pro, while the Note 13 Pro+ has the higher charging wattage.
Capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world endurance or charging time on their own. Xiaomi advertises “Más de 2 días de batería” (“More than 2 days of battery”) for the Note 17 Pro; this is the manufacturer’s claim, and actual battery life varies with use and conditions. For the Note 13 Pro+, Xiaomi Spain says it can charge to 100% in 19 minutes, with the included 120W charger, boosted charging mode, and screen off; Xiaomi notes that results vary by test environment. Treat that as a manufacturer claim under stated conditions, not an independently reproduced result.

Processor, memory, and regional configuration
The Spain specifications page identifies a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra in the Note 13 Pro+; the Mexico page identifies a 4nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 in the Note 17 Pro. Those names and process-node figures are not enough to rank everyday speed, gaming performance, heat, or efficiency. The available evidence does not establish a direct benchmark comparison between the two phones.
The listed memory and storage configurations also differ across the pages: Xiaomi Spain lists 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB for the Note 13 Pro+, while Xiaomi Mexico lists 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB for the Note 17 Pro. These are regional listings, not a guarantee that every configuration is sold in every country. Xiaomi also says the Note 17 Pro’s storage technology depends on configuration.

Durability and water-resistance claims
Xiaomi lists IP68 dust and water resistance for the Note 13 Pro+. Its Mexico product page lists IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for the Note 17 Pro 5G and says the phone passed a TÜV SÜD water-resistance test at 2m for 72 hours. These are manufacturer-published claims; check the warranty and local product terms before treating a rating or test as coverage for accidental damage. The ratings should not be read as permission to deliberately expose either phone to water.
What is the price difference?
A reliable price difference cannot be calculated from the available information. The cited pages cover Spain and Mexico respectively and do not provide current, comparable retail prices for a common storage tier. A meaningful comparison needs both phones priced in the same country, currency, and sales channel, with the date and any promotion identified.
