Which phone has the better display?
The P4x has the higher listed refresh rate, 144Hz, but uses an LCD. The Redmi’s curved AMOLED panel reaches 120Hz. A higher refresh-rate figure is not the only factor in display preference: decide whether you value the Redmi’s AMOLED panel and curved design or the P4x’s higher listed refresh rate. The specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better to you.
Battery and charging: larger capacity is not a runtime test
realme describes the P4x as having a 7000mAh battery; Xiaomi lists the Redmi at 5800mAh typical capacity. Both phones are listed with 45W charging, although Xiaomi calls its implementation 45W Turbo Charging and says the charger is included in the box. Capacity figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use; that depends on usage and testing conditions.

Performance: compare the platforms, not just clock speeds
The P4x uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra, while the Redmi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Xiaomi specifies a 4nm process and CPU speeds up to 2.4GHz; 91mobiles lists the P4x at up to 2.6GHz. Clock speed alone is not a reliable comparison of overall speed, gaming performance or efficiency. No comparable benchmark evidence is established here, so choose based on the platform specifications rather than treating either clock figure as proof of a performance winner.
Cameras: the Redmi has more selfie-camera resolution
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera. The Redmi adds a 2MP depth camera and has a 20MP front camera; the P4x is listed with a 2MP monochrome rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Those resolution figures describe hardware, not photo quality. Image processing, lens and sensor behavior, and real sample photos matter; megapixel counts alone cannot identify the better camera.

Storage and software support
Storage options
Xiaomi officially lists the Redmi in 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. It supports microSD cards up to 1TB using a hybrid SIM/microSD slot, so using a card may affect how you use that tray. Xiaomi cautions that memory-card compatibility can vary. 91mobiles lists 128GB and 256GB P4x variants and UFS 3.1 storage, compared with UFS 2.2 for the Redmi; check the exact retail SKU before using storage type as a deciding factor.
Update durations
91mobiles reports two OS years and three security years for the P4x, versus four OS years and six security years for the Redmi. These are third-party comparison figures; confirm the current manufacturer support policy for the exact model before treating them as guaranteed update commitments.
