Display: vivo is slightly larger; realme refreshes faster
The vivo S2 5G is reported to have a 6.83-inch display, compared with 6.8 inches on the realme P4 Pro. That small difference in diagonal does not by itself establish which screen looks better or is easier to use.
realme officially lists a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, while the comparison listing reports 120Hz for vivo. A higher refresh rate can make supported movement and scrolling appear smoother, but the figures alone do not show how consistently either phone sustains that rate or how much it affects battery life.

Performance, memory and storage
realme lists a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The vivo Community post identifies the S2 5G’s processor as Dimensity 7360-Turbo and describes 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations.
These chipset names and memory configurations do not establish a real-world speed winner. No comparable controlled performance tests are available here. Check the exact storage variant on the retailer listing before buying, particularly for the vivo, whose configuration information is community-reported.

Rear and front cameras
Rear camera setup
The P4 Pro’s officially listed rear cameras are a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The S2 5G is reported to pair a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth camera. On the listed hardware, realme offers an ultra-wide option that vivo’s reported setup does not include. Megapixel counts and camera configuration alone do not establish photo quality.
Selfie camera
realme lists a 50MP front camera; 91mobiles reports a 32MP front camera for the vivo. The higher listed resolution is a specification difference, not evidence of better selfies in practice.

Battery capacity and charging
realme specifies a 7000mAh typical battery capacity and a 6830mAh minimum. The vivo S2 5G is reported at 7050mAh, just 50mAh above realme’s typical figure. That small capacity difference cannot predict which phone lasts longer: actual runtime depends on usage and other factors, and no comparable battery test is available here.
Charging is a clearer specification gap: realme lists 80W charging and an included 80W adapter, while 91mobiles and the vivo Community post report 44W for the S2 5G. This indicates a higher listed charging rate for realme, not a measured charging-time advantage. The vivo Community author also reports that their box contained a 44W adapter, USB Type-C cable, transparent case and pre-applied screen protector; packaging may vary by market, seller or unit.

The realme listing was out of stock at 91mobiles; vivo’s displayed price differs across sources, and the Community figures are tied to reported storage variants. The sources therefore do not establish a dependable current price difference between like-for-like models.

Quick Recap
Which phone should you investigate?
- Consider the realme P4 Pro 5G if its officially listed 144Hz display, 80W charging, 50MP front camera, OIS main camera with an ultra-wide, or 12GB RAM option matches your priorities—and you can confirm current stock and price.
- Consider the vivo S2 5G if the reported 6.83-inch screen, 7050mAh battery figure, or a particular 8GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB configuration appeals to you, after verifying its specifications and availability with the seller.
- Do not choose on battery capacity or processor name alone. The listed capacity difference does not establish runtime, and the chipset information does not establish which phone performs better in comparable use.
