Which one fits you?
Choose the P4 Pro for cameras and display
The Pro is the only model with OIS on its 50MP main camera and a 50MP selfie camera. Its 1280 × 2800 curved panel is also the sharpest of the three. It is also the only one with a different chipset, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and it starts at 8GB RAM. Better photos are not proven by these specs, so judge sample images and reviews before paying a premium.
Choose the P4 as the balanced middle
The P4 keeps the 144Hz AMOLED screen, 80W charging and an 8MP ultra-wide. It drops the Pro’s curved 1.5K-class panel, OIS and 50MP selfie camera, and uses a 16MP front camera. It makes sense if you shoot mostly in good light and want fast charging. Confirm the actual price gap before calling it the better value.

Choose the P4x only on price
The P4x shares the P4’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and the 7000mAh typical battery. It gives up 80W charging (45W listed), lists only one rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera, and is the heaviest and thickest of the three. Realme’s page claims an AnTuTu V10 score above 780,000 from its own lab, with a footnote that results vary by testing conditions. Treat that, and its battery, temperature and gaming claims, as company figures rather than independent results, and not as proof of a better gaming phone.
Three differences that matter most
- Cameras: OIS, a 50MP selfie camera and the Pro’s Sony IMX896 sensor against an ultra-wide on the P4 and none listed on the P4x.
- Display: 1280 × 2800 curved on the Pro, 1080 × 2392 on the P4, and FHD+ on the P4x. All three are 144Hz.
- Charging: 80W on the P4 and Pro against 45W on the P4x, with the same typical battery capacity.
What to check before you buy
- Price: Current prices, discounts and stock change often and were not verified here. Compare live listings for the exact RAM and storage version in your market, and note the date.
- Launch date: The P4x was announced to debut in India on December 4, 2025. That says nothing about today’s price or availability.
- Updates and reliability: The product pages cited do not establish software update duration or long-term reliability.
- Outside India: Specifications, box contents and network bands may differ. Check 5G and 4G bands against your carrier before importing a model.
The Bottom Line
Pay for the P4 Pro if camera and screen are your priorities. Pick the P4 for the 80W-charging middle ground. Pick the P4x only if it is meaningfully cheaper where you live.
