A 2026 Smartprix price snapshot put the P4 at ₹25,999 and the P3 8GB+128GB at ₹16,999—a ₹9,000 gap—but that is not a guaranteed like-for-like price. The official realme India store separately showed ₹30,999 for the P4 8GB+128GB listing.

Specifications are not comparative test results. The chipset names and clock speeds do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use or games. Peak-brightness figures are manufacturer specifications, and test conditions may differ. Battery capacity does not by itself predict endurance, and rated charging power does not guarantee a particular charging time.
How the displays compare
The P4’s panel is 0.10 inch larger diagonally and has a higher stated refresh rate: 144Hz versus 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion appear smoother, but the experience depends on what is displayed and how the phone manages refresh rate. Realme lists peak brightness at 4,500 nits for the P4 and up to 2,000 nits for the P3; these are manufacturer figures, not a claim that the P4 will be that bright across the whole screen in every situation.

Battery capacity and charging
Realme lists the P4 at 7,000mAh typical capacity (6,830mAh minimum), while the P3 is rated at 6,000mAh typical (5,860mAh minimum). The P4 therefore has 1,000mAh more typical rated capacity on paper. Its wired charging is also rated at 80W, compared with 45W for the P3. These figures indicate capacity and charging-power ratings, not independently measured battery life or a guaranteed charge duration.
Chipsets and performance
The P3 uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 5G chipset, with realme listing an octa-core configuration up to 2.3GHz. The P4 uses a Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G, listed as octa-core up to 2.6GHz. Both are specified as 4nm chips, but differences in chip family and maximum clock alone are not enough to rank real-world speed, gaming performance, heat or efficiency. No comparable independent test results are established here.

Camera differences
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera. The notable listed secondary-camera difference is that the P3 global specification page names a 2MP bokeh camera, while the P4 specification lists an 8MP wide-angle camera. A wide-angle camera offers a different field of view from a bokeh sensor, but megapixel counts and camera labels do not establish overall photo quality. Check the India SKU’s camera details before purchase, especially for the P3.
Water and dust protection
Realme’s India P3 product page states an IP69 rating. The P4 specification extract available for this comparison does not establish an IP rating. That absence is not proof that the P4 has no rating or a lower one; verify the complete, current P4 documentation rather than assuming the two phones offer equivalent protection.

realme P3 vs P4 price difference in India
Prices are snapshots, not fixed prices. A Smartprix comparison result accessed in 2026 showed a lowest price found of ₹16,999 for the P3 8GB+128GB and ₹25,999 for the compared P4 configuration. That produces a ₹9,000 difference in that aggregator snapshot, but it may reflect different sellers, variants or offer conditions.
Separately, the official realme India store surfaced a ₹30,999 listing for the P4 8GB+128GB. That is ₹5,000 above the Smartprix P4 snapshot, illustrating why the figures should not be treated as a single retailer’s like-for-like comparison. Prices, stock, bank offers and exchange discounts can change; check the same RAM/storage configuration, seller and offer terms on the day you buy.
Which realme phone should you choose?
Choose the P4 if its listed upgrades matter to you
- You want the higher stated display refresh rate and a slightly larger screen.
- You value greater rated battery capacity and higher rated wired charging power.
- The P4’s wide-angle rear camera better fits how you take photos, subject to checking the exact regional configuration.
Consider the P3 if price or its verified protection rating is decisive
- The price snapshot showed a lower P3 figure, although current offers and seller conditions must be checked before treating that as a real saving.
- Realme’s India P3 page explicitly states IP69. Compare that with a verified P4 rating rather than assuming equivalent protection.
- The P3’s listed 120Hz AMOLED display and 45W charging may be sufficient if the P4’s paper-spec advantages are not priorities.
For either phone, verify the exact variant, regional specifications, included accessories, seller and current price. Realme’s global P3 page says an adapter is included, while the P4 India specification page also states an adapter is included; confirm the box contents for the specific SKU you are purchasing.
