The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is chiefly a design-and-collectibles variant of the standard realme 16 Pro 5G, not a hardware upgrade. Launch coverage says the two retain the same core specifications; the special edition adds Hogwarts styling, themed software, a limited-edition box and included collectibles. Its value therefore depends on whether those extras justify the price available in your market.
What changes in the Harry Potter Edition?
Hogwarts-inspired exterior
Realme describes a Hogwarts-inspired design with a Hedwig-inspired camera decoration. India launch coverage additionally describes a brown, textured Wizard’s Chess motif and a Hogwarts crest. These are cosmetic differences; they do not indicate a different camera system. See realme India’s product page and Gadgets 360’s India launch report.
Harry Potter-themed software
The India product page lists Hogwarts Castle wallpapers, Harry Potter-inspired startup and fingerprint animations, and more than 30 redesigned native app icons styled around Hogwarts. These are customization features, rather than evidence of different processing or camera performance. If you prefer a standard interface, consider whether you will use the themed elements before paying extra. Realme’s product FAQ describes the edition’s design and software customizations.
Limited-edition box and collectibles
Realme promotes a limited-edition gifting box with a personalized Hogwarts Acceptance Gift Kit. Gadgets 360’s India launch report lists an acceptance letter, train ticket, bookmarks, character postcards, a themed phone case and a pin. That item list is launch reporting for India, not a guarantee for every market or seller. Check the specific listing and confirm the box contents before ordering, particularly if the collectibles are the main reason for your purchase.

- The soft TPU edges of this case have a silky touch while providing excellent grip without adding bulk to the overall size of your phone.
- While protection is a priority, we strive to find lightweight materials to keep your phone as slim as possible. The fine matte finish on the back effectively reduces greasy fingerprints and annoying scratches.
- Support wireless charging.
What stays the same?
Launch coverage says the Harry Potter Edition retains the standard realme 16 Pro 5G’s specifications. The cited reporting does not identify a special-edition upgrade to the display, processor, cameras, battery or charging. HT Tech reports the shared model specifications as a 6.78-inch 144Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max, 200MP main and 8MP ultra-wide rear cameras, 50MP front camera, 7,000mAh battery and 80W wired charging. These are launch-reported figures, not a reason to choose the special edition over the standard model. Verify the exact SKU on the current regional listing. HT Tech’s launch coverage says the edition retains the standard model’s specifications.
India launch price and configuration
Gadgets 360 reported a ₹62,999 starting launch price in India for the Harry Potter Edition with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage on 21 September 2026. This is a dated launch figure, not a verified current price. A current price for the standard model was not established, so compare live listings for the same market and storage configuration rather than treating the launch figure as today’s premium. The reported configuration and price apply to the India launch coverage; they should not be assumed to apply elsewhere. Gadgets 360’s report has the launch details.
