9to5Toys reported on October 7, 2026, that Amazon was offering the wired Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition for $37.99 shipped, which the outlet described as a new low. That is a dated deal report, not confirmation that the price is still available: check the Amazon listing for current price, stock, delivery, and any purchase conditions before ordering.
What the deal report says
According to 9to5Toys’ October 7, 2026 report, Amazon had the black Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition for $37.99 shipped. The report called it a new all-time low, compared with a $100 launch price and a recent Amazon price of around $75. Those historical comparisons come from 9to5Toys, not a separate price-history dataset.
A separate Best Buy listing showed the black controller, model RZ06-05210100-R3U1, at $74.99 with a $99.99 comparable value when retrieved. That retailer snapshot does not establish current inventory or confirm Amazon’s offer.
What the Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition offers
Razer describes the Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition as a wired, Xbox-licensed controller for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Its six remappable controls comprise four mouse-click back buttons and two claw-grip bumpers. Other listed features include Pro HyperTriggers, Hall Effect thumbsticks, and Mecha-Tactile buttons. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance-test results.
#1 Best Overall

- PRO HYPERTRIGGERS — Set the triggers for instant actuation with zero travel time or ultra precise analog control—be fully immersed in the action and feel every trigger pull with integrated haptic vibrations
- HALL EFFECT PRECISION THUMBSTICKS — Experience analog thumbsticks that are not only more accurate than traditional models but are smoother, lighter, and more durable thanks to their anti-friction rings and pro grade materials
- HYPERSPEED WIRELESS — Delivering an ultra-low latency 2.4 GHz connection via its USB Type A dongle, experience fast, reliable performance that meets the demands of the most intense competitive players on Xbox and PC
- RAZER MECHA-TACTILE ACTION BUTTONS & 8-WAY FLOATING D-PAD — By combining the speed of microswitches with the cushioned comfort of a rubber membrane, compete with quicker inputs that feel just as comfortable to press
- Connection: Wired only. Razer says a 10-foot cable is included; the deal report describes it as detachable and braided.
- Polling: Razer lists 250 Hz when connected to Xbox. A separate 1,000 Hz Tournament Mode is available on PC through the companion app or a controller shortcut; it is not the Xbox polling rate.
- Additional details: 9to5Toys reports rubberized grips, front-facing Razer-logo RGB, and two interchangeable thumbstick caps.
Razer’s product FAQ is explicit: “No, the Razer Wolverine V3 TE is a fully wired controller on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.” See Razer’s product page for its listed specifications and compatibility information.
Is it the right model for you?
The V3 Tournament Edition suits players who want wired play and extra remappable controls on Xbox or PC. It is not a wireless controller, so the cable is a deciding factor if you need to play untethered. Razer identifies the Wolverine V3 Pro as a distinct wireless model; its FAQ also notes that the Pro includes a carrying case, swappable thumbstick caps, and more advanced haptics.

There is also a newer generation to consider. Windows Central reported that the Wolverine V4 Pro and V4 Tournament Edition went on sale in the US on October 6, 2026, at launch prices of $199.99 and $99.99, respectively. The outlet also discusses capacitive thumbstick sensors in the V4 line. Those are different products, and their launch prices are not a live comparison with the V3 deal.
