Choose the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro if you want a mouse Razer explicitly describes as right-handed and ergonomic. Choose the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 if its smaller published dimensions and lower listed weight appeal to you, or if you want an 8000 Hz report-rate specification without buying the separate Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Neither set of manufacturer specifications proves a universal comfort or performance winner; fit and your priorities should decide.

At a glance: the main differences

Specification Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2
Shape and size description Razer calls it right-handed ergonomic and mid-to-large. Logitech’s cited product page provides dimensions but does not give an equivalent explicit ergonomic designation.
Published weight Approximately 63 g in black or 64 g in white for the classic-base version, excluding cable. 60 g.
Dimensions About 128 × 68 × 44 mm. 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm.
Sensor maximum Focus Pro 30K, up to 30,000 DPI. HERO 2, up to 44,000 DPI.
Polling/report rate 1000 Hz by default; up to 8000 Hz wireless with the separately sold HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Razer’s cited support page says 8000 Hz is unavailable in wired mode for the referenced model. Up to 8000 Hz.
Manufacturer battery claim Up to 90 hours at 1000 Hz, or up to 17 hours at 8000 Hz. Up to 95 hours in constant motion.

Figures come from the manufacturers’ product and support pages, not a controlled, head-to-head test. The battery claims use different stated conditions, so they do not establish which mouse lasts longer under the same settings and workload. Which mouse is likely to fit your priorities?

Choose the DeathAdder V3 Pro if you want an explicitly ergonomic right-handed shape

Razer identifies this mouse as right-handed ergonomic and describes it as mid-to-large. That makes it the clearer starting point if you are specifically looking for a contoured right-handed design. It does not guarantee comfort: hand size, grip, and personal preference still matter, and the cited material does not establish a universal fit advantage. Razer’s product page and its FAQ describe the form.

Choose the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 if lower listed weight is your priority

Logitech lists the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 at 60 g. Razer lists the classic-base DeathAdder V3 Pro at approximately 63 g in black and 64 g in white, excluding cable. That is a 3–4 g difference on published figures; it is not evidence by itself that the Logitech will feel better or perform better for you. Logitech also lists smaller dimensions, which may be useful context when considering fit, but measurements cannot replace trying a shape in your hand.

Consider the Razer accessory requirement before prioritizing 8000 Hz

Logitech lists up to 8000 Hz for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. The DeathAdder V3 Pro defaults to 1000 Hz; Razer says wireless polling up to 8000 Hz requires its separately sold HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Razer’s support information for the cited model says 8000 Hz is not supported in wired mode. If you are comparing the maximum listed rates, account for that Razer hardware requirement rather than treating both maximums as equally ready to use. Razer product information; Razer support specifications; Razer smooth-touch support information.

Do not choose on DPI or battery claims alone

Logitech lists a maximum of 44,000 DPI for the HERO 2 sensor; Razer lists 30,000 DPI for Focus Pro 30K. These are manufacturer sensor ceilings, not a comparative measure of practical aiming or tracking quality. The available specifications do not establish a real-world performance winner.

The battery figures also describe different conditions: Logitech says up to 95 hours in constant motion, while Razer says up to 90 hours at 1000 Hz and up to 17 hours at 8000 Hz. They are not results from a shared workload, so use them as separate manufacturer claims rather than a direct endurance ranking.

Check the exact version and what comes in the box

Confirm the product name and variant before ordering. The DeathAdder V3 Pro has classic-base and smooth-touch descriptions, and its specifications or package details can depend on the variant. Do not confuse it with other similarly named Razer mice. Likewise, the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 is distinct from the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX and earlier generations.

Razer materials identify a wireless dongle and charging cable, while its support specification mentions pre-cut grip tapes; the exact package can depend on the DeathAdder variant. Verify the regional SKU and its listing for the parts included. Logitech lists a two-year limited hardware warranty on its product page; a full region-specific Razer warranty comparison is not established here, so check local terms before buying.

Recommendation

For a right-handed ergonomic contour, the DeathAdder V3 Pro is the more clearly documented fit. For the lower published weight, the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 is the straightforward choice. If 8000 Hz is central to your decision, Logitech lists that rate without the separate Razer dongle requirement described for the DeathAdder V3 Pro. For either mouse, choose by the shape and setup you actually want—not by sensor maximums or battery figures that were not measured under identical conditions.
