The $515 figure is Raymond James’s individual target, not a consensus forecast. Yahoo Finance’s listing showed targets from multiple firms at different levels; those estimates can reflect different assumptions and time horizons, and they may change as new information arrives.
How was the $515 target valued?
TipRanks reports that Raymond James applied a 22-times multiple to projected calendar 2028 earnings. In simple terms, the analyst’s target depends on both an earnings forecast and the valuation multiple assigned to those earnings. Changes to either input can produce a different estimate. TipRanks connected the analyst’s thesis to AI demand and NVIDIA’s reported results and outlook.
