Qualtrics Assist for CX was announced in June 2025 as a copilot-style tool to help managers and executives explore customer experience data by asking straightforward questions, such as “What are the top three customer complaints?” The aim was to make feedback easier to understand and act on—not to establish that the product is generally available today.
What Qualtrics Assist for CX was designed to do
Computer Weekly described Assist for CX as a way for managers and executives to ask questions about customer experience data and receive guided, data-backed insights. The copilot framing matters: the announced product was intended to help people find meaning in feedback without requiring them to be specialists in data analysis.
The practical problem is the interval between collecting customer feedback and responding to it. Qualtrics called this an “action gap”: organizations may gather substantial amounts of experience data yet struggle to turn it into decisions or improvements. Qualtrics president Brad Anderson said the company’s new AI “experience agents” would allow organisations to “close the loop” on feedback every time, as quoted in Computer Weekly’s June 16, 2025 report. That is the company’s stated ambition, not a demonstrated guarantee.
What the reported preview suggests—and what it does not
Computer Weekly reported that an Australian airline previewing Assist for CX reduced the time needed to understand unstructured feedback from months to hours. The account was attributed to Sam Ramjahn, Qualtrics’ head of solution engineering for Asia-Pacific and Japan. It is a reported customer example, not an independently verified measurement or evidence that every organization will see the same result.

Ramjahn also said, “There’s no point asking for feedback if you’re not going to do anything about it.” The remark captures the operational issue: faster analysis can help only if teams have the authority, processes, and resources to respond.
How large is the feedback-to-action problem?
Computer Weekly reported several figures attributed to Qualtrics executives in 2025. Brad Anderson said Qualtrics handled 1.2 billion surveys a year, with 14.5 questions per survey on average. Vicky Katsabaris, Qualtrics director of experience management strategy, said 10% of organizations successfully turn experience data into actions. These are company-attributed figures reported by Computer Weekly, not independently validated statistics.
Rank #2
The numbers illustrate the kind of scale and conversion problem Qualtrics used to frame the announcement. They do not, on their own, show how Assist performs, how many customers use it, or whether it changes business outcomes.
Availability: the June 2025 forecast is not a current status
At the time of Computer Weekly’s June 16, 2025 report, Assist for CX was in preview, with general availability expected in the following quarter. That was a forecast made at announcement time. It does not establish whether the product is generally available now, what plans include it, or whether its name or packaging has changed.

A separate Qualtrics announcement on March 18, 2026 described broader customer experience capabilities, including combining feedback from surveys, contact centers, digital interactions, online reviews, and social channels. Qualtrics named connectors for Genesys, NICE, and Salesforce and said the announced enhancements could make deployments up to four times faster. That deployment claim concerns those broader CX capabilities; it should not be treated as a result or availability statement for Assist for CX.

The announcement establishes the intended use of Assist, but not a complete feature or performance comparison. For a procurement decision, verify the details that determine whether a copilot can safely move from an answer to a useful response:
Rank #4
- Data coverage: Which feedback channels and data sources can it access, and how current is that information?
- Grounding and permissions: What context supports an answer, and does the tool respect existing access controls for customer or business data?
- Scope of assistance: Does it summarize and recommend, or can it initiate actions in other systems?
- Human review: What approval, audit, and correction controls apply before a recommendation becomes an action?
- Implementation: Which integrations, configuration, and organizational processes are required?
- Commercial status: Is Assist available in the relevant region and edition, and how is it packaged?
- Outcome evidence: Are claimed time savings or improvements supported by measured results from comparable deployments?
The March 2026 announcement identifies several channels and connectors for broader Qualtrics CX capabilities, but it does not, by itself, confirm that each is available through Assist or explain the copilot’s permissions, review controls, packaging, or measured outcomes.
