The current Puffco Proxy is an app-enabled concentrate vaporizer sold in different configurations, including a glass Pipe Kit and a glass-free Core Kit. Puffco lists controls for temperature, session time, vapor level and lighting, along with an estimated 15 dabs per charge. Those are manufacturer claims, not results from independent hands-on testing, so the available evidence can explain what the Proxy includes and how its ecosystem works—but cannot establish its flavor, vapor quality, durability or value against competing devices.
What is the current Puffco Proxy?
Puffco currently sells the Proxy in more than one configuration. The Pipe Kit pairs its Proxy Base with a glass pipe, while the Core Kit offers a different, glass-free form. Both belong to Puffco’s modular Proxy system, but accessories and chamber compatibility can depend on which Proxy generation you own.
Puffco describes the current Proxy as app-enabled through Puffco Connect. The company says the app can adjust temperature, session time, vapor level and lighting. These are manufacturer-described features, not independently verified performance findings.

The Pipe Kit’s listed contents and price come from Puffco’s Proxy Pipe Kit product page. Puffco’s Build Your Own Proxy page shows that the ecosystem includes Pipe, Core, Wizard and Bub pieces, as well as optional accessories. The listed prices are manufacturer prices at the time researched, not a market comparison or a recommendation on value.

How modularity and compatibility work
Puffco says Proxy bases work with Proxy glass pieces, and its build-your-own lineup offers different forms and accessories. That does not make every accessory interchangeable across every Proxy generation.
- New Proxy 3D Chamber: Puffco says this chamber is exclusively for the new Bluetooth-enabled Proxy. It should not be assumed to fit the original Proxy.
- Core Accessory: Puffco says it is not compatible with the older, non-app-enabled base.
- Other add-ons: Puffco lists items such as a Flower Bowl, travel products and Hot Knife, but their presence in the ecosystem does not establish universal compatibility or that they are required.
Before buying a replacement chamber or accessory, identify whether the base is the current app-enabled model or the original Proxy and check the specific compatibility information on Puffco’s New Proxy 3D Chamber page and Build Your Own Proxy page. Puffco also says the current Proxy does not have a 3DXL Chamber or wireless charging; those are feature distinctions, not evidence by themselves of better or worse performance.

Battery life and charging
Puffco estimates around 15 dabs per charge, depending on heat settings, and around two hours for a full charge. These figures are the manufacturer’s estimates; they were not measured in an independent test, and actual use may vary with settings and usage.
Cleaning the glass
Puffco’s care instructions describe this process for the glass component:

- Remove the Proxy Base from the glass.
- Soak the glass in isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the glass with water.
- Let it dry fully before reinserting the base.
Puffco’s product FAQ cautions against using other cleaning solutions or abrasive materials. Follow the current instructions for your particular component rather than applying glass-cleaning directions to the electronic base.
Warranty: check which Proxy generation you have
Puffco’s current Warranty Policy lists two years for new devices unless otherwise specified, six months for the new Proxy 3D Chamber and one month for the original Proxy chamber. Puffco’s original Proxy support page separately describes one year of coverage for the original base and one month for its chamber.

These terms distinguish the new device and chamber from the original model. Confirm the generation, seller, proof-of-purchase requirements and current policy before relying on a warranty; unauthorized-reseller exclusions may apply, and warranty terms can change.

The available manufacturer information makes the Proxy’s appeal clearest for someone who wants a modular device with multiple form options and app controls. Whether the Pipe or Core configuration suits a particular user depends on the preferred form and the contents of the current kit listing. Puffco’s listed features and estimated battery figures do not establish independent flavor quality, vapor density, comfort, durability, reliability or comparative value. Those questions require hands-on testing or independent evidence, so a verdict on performance or value cannot be made from manufacturer documentation alone.
