PTCL says its Flash Fiber service received Ookla’s Best Fixed Network award for 2025 and Best ISP Gaming Experience award for the second half of 2025 (H2 2025). SAMENA Council’s industry update also reports those distinct award periods. The recognition is national, not a guarantee of the speed or gaming performance available at a particular address.
Which Ookla awards did PTCL Flash Fiber receive?
PTCL’s FY2025 annual report says Flash Fiber received two awards: Best Fixed Network for 2025 and Best ISP Gaming Experience for H2 2025. SAMENA Council likewise describes the fixed-network award as covering the full year and the gaming-experience award as covering the second half. The periods are different, so the gaming award should not be described as a full-year result.

What does the Best Fixed Network award measure?
SAMENA’s account says Ookla’s Best Fixed Network KPI model evaluates download and upload speeds, latency, video-streaming quality, and web-browsing performance. The available account does not establish the complete scoring rules, and it does not explain how Ookla calculated the Best ISP Gaming Experience award. Treat those award names as reported results rather than as a substitute for a full methodology or address-specific test.
#1 Best Overall
- Tri-Band WiFi 6E Router - Up to 5400 Mbps WiFi for faster browsing, streaming, gaming and downloading, all at the same time(6 GHz: 2402 Mbps;5 GHz: 2402 Mbps;2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps)
- WiFi 6E Unleashed – The 6 GHz band brings more bandwidth, faster speeds, and near-zero latency; Enables more responsive gaming and video chatting
- Connect More Devices—True Tri-Band and OFDMA technology increase capacity by 4 times to enable simultaneous transmission to more devices
- Unique Design, More RAM, Better Processing - A unique housing design provides optimal heat dissipation, combined with a 1.0 GHz dual-core CPU and 512 MB High-Speed Memory, the AXE75 is designed for long-term reliability and performance.
- EasyMesh-compatible - Extend network range even more by adding EasyMesh-compatible routers, extenders, or wireless powerline adapters for a seamless, whole-home connection. Eliminate dead zones, drops, and lag as you move across your home.
How does the award relate to PACRA’s H1 2025 scores?
PACRA’s 2026 report gives a separate comparison based on H1 2025 Ookla Speedtest Intelligence Connectivity Scores. It ranks Flash Fiber narrowly ahead of Transworld and Nayatel in that period. These figures are not the full-year Best Fixed Network award and should not be treated as its score or methodology.
| Provider | H1 2025 Connectivity Score |
|---|---|
| PTCL Flash Fiber | 56.95 |
| Transworld | 56.71 |
| Nayatel | 56.31 |

What do PTCL’s subscriber figures tell you?
PTCL’s FY2025 annual report says Flash Fiber subscribers’ average data rate exceeded 35 Mbps in FY25 and that the company had 33% of nationwide fiber subscribers. These are company-reported service-wide context figures. They do not state an individual customer’s package speed, the speed available at a particular address, or the performance a household should expect.
Rank #2
- DUAL-BAND WIFI 6 ROUTER: Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) technology achieves faster speeds, greater capacity and reduced network congestion compared to the previous gen. All WiFi routers require a separate modem. Dual-Band WiFi routers do not support the 6 GHz band.
- AX1800: Enjoy smoother and more stable streaming, gaming, downloading with 1.8 Gbps total bandwidth (up to 1200 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz). Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.
- CONNECT MORE DEVICES: Wi-Fi 6 technology communicates more data to more devices simultaneously using revolutionary OFDMA technology
- EXTENSIVE COVERAGE: Achieve the strong, reliable WiFi coverage with Archer AX1800 as it focuses signal strength to your devices far away using Beamforming technology, 4 high-gain antennas and an advanced front-end module (FEM) chipset
- OUR CYBERSECURITY COMMITMENT: TP-Link is a signatory of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Secure-by-Design pledge. This device is designed, built, and maintained, with advanced security as a core requirement.
Does the recognition mean Flash Fiber is available or fast at your address?
No. A national award does not establish local coverage or guarantee a household’s speed, latency, uptime, or gaming experience. Results can depend on the subscribed plan, local network conditions, in-home equipment, and how and when performance is measured. The cited reports do not provide address-level availability or performance data.

- FASTER, FARTHER, MORE RELIABLE WIFI: A dedicated dual-band WiFi 7 router built to deliver the full speed of your internet plan across a medium to large home of streaming, video calls, gaming, and smart devices.
- WORKS WITH YOUR EXISTING INTERNET SERVICE: Pairs with your existing modem or gateway via ethernet. Compatible with most cable, fiber, DSL, and satellite providers. Some gateways and modem router combos may require bridge mode. No coax needed.
- SET UP AND MANAGE YOUR NETWORK WITH THE NIGHTHAWK APP: Download the free Nighthawk app on iOS or Android for guided setup. Manage WiFi, run speed tests, pause devices, and set up guest networks from anywhere. Active internet required.
- WIFI 7 SPEED FOR TODAY'S FASTEST INTERNET PLANS: Up to 6.5 Gbps across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, 1.2x faster than WiFi 6. Keeps every device connected at the same time with MU-MIMO and OFDMA. Real-world speeds depend on your devices and plan.
- COVERAGE IN EVERY ROOM: Delivers up to 2,500 sq. ft. of coverage for up to 80 devices. Walls, floors, and interference can reduce range. Larger or multi-story homes may benefit from a NETGEAR Orbi mesh WiFi system.
- Whether the provider serves your address and can install service there.
- The plan’s advertised download and upload speeds, total monthly cost including taxes, and any data limits.
- Installation terms, reliability information, and customer-support options.
- Latency and performance under conditions similar to your household’s use, rather than relying on a national award or a separate period’s score.
The cited H1 comparison covers only Flash Fiber, Transworld, and Nayatel, and its Connectivity Scores do not settle availability, price, reliability, or support.
