There are seven reported Nightfall weapon schematics in Slayers 2: Katana, Serpent Katana, Axe & Mace, Scythe, Gauntlets, Claws, and Sickles. The routes range from underwater caves to combat objectives and map-wide levers. The locations below reflect unofficial guides updated in September 2026; names and mechanics may change, so confirm them in your live game.

These are guide-reported routes, not developer-confirmed instructions. Regional labels vary between guides, particularly for the Scythe, Serpent Katana, and Sickles.
How to get each Nightfall schematic
Nightfall Katana: underwater cave at Mistfall Harbor
- Go to the docks at Mistfall Harbor and locate the waterfall.
- Dive for the underwater opening behind or beside the waterfall.
- Follow the passage into the cave, then climb toward the chest/platform in the upper-right area.
The reported unlock is a single underwater cave route; guides do not describe an additional combat objective for this schematic.
Nightfall Serpent Katana: Harbor keys and a locked chest
- Search underwater around Mistfall Harbor for Serpent Keys.
- Bring the keys to the locked chest in the nearby cave. Guides give different names for the destination—Dreamfall Hollow, Verdant Cliffs, or simply a cave near Mistfall Harbor.
- Try the keys one at a time until one opens the chest.
At least one guide reports that the correct key can be character-specific. If a key fails, that alone does not establish that the schematic is unavailable; keep searching for keys and testing them.

Nightfall Axe & Mace: climb the Bamboo area pagoda
- Travel to the mountain building or pagoda in the Bamboo Grove/Bamboo area near Mother Bear.
- Enter and use the small platforms to climb toward the top chest.
Mobility skills may make the platforming easier, according to the guides. This route is about reaching the chest rather than completing a separate quest.
Nightfall Scythe: submerged cave beneath the Wind Trainer
- In the Snow Village or Iceveil Valley region, find the Wind Trainer platform.
- Dive beneath it and pass behind the submerged statue to reach the deeper cave.
- One published turn sequence is: go straight, take the first left, take the first left again, take the first right, take the first left, then turn right at the end and continue to the schematic.
Because guides use both “Snow Village” and “Iceveil Valley,” use the Wind Trainer landmark to orient yourself rather than relying on one region label.

Nightfall Gauntlets: three statue objectives
- Speak with Stonemason Tobei in Hidden Mist Village to start the objective.
- Activate the three statues using the attack type reported for each location:
- Windy Peak / Akaza cave: Breathing Style or Demon Art attacks.
- Dungeon or Rengoku-area bridge: sword attacks.
- Hidden Mist treetops: fists.
- Return to Tobei after all three objectives register.
Nerd’s Chalk and Pro Game Guides each report 100 hits per statue. Treat that number as a guide-reported requirement, not an independently verified game statistic. Nearby landmark descriptions differ, so check that you are using the specified attack type and that progress registers.
Nightfall Claws: underwater passage near Butterfly Estate
- Go to Butterfly Estate and search the water near the Yeti area or estate bridge.
- Look for an underwater cave entrance, then follow the submerged passage to its hidden reward area.
The guides agree on an underwater approach near the estate, but describe the nearby landmark slightly differently.

Nightfall Sickles: activate ten levers, then find the reward entrance
- Locate and activate all ten levers around the map.
- After the tenth lever, follow the reported Rengoku boss route near Mistfall Harbor and search for the sewer or secret entrance to the reward area.
- Enter the unlocked area and collect the schematic.
Published lever lists mention Butterfly Estate, Bamboo Grove, Hidden Mist/Verdant Cliffs, the Stone Trainer area, Mistfall Harbor, Snow Village, and Akaza Cave. The descriptions differ, and guides variously call the reward entrance a sewer, secret door, or Forgotten Ruins entrance. A current checklist or map image can help you track the ten levers; verify landmarks in game.
Which route should you do first?
There are no comparable completion-time measurements in the guides, but their stated objectives make the relative workload clear:

- Fewest stated steps: the Nightfall Katana is described as one underwater cave visit.
- Most map-wide searching: the Sickles require ten levers before the reward entrance appears.
- Most repeated combat work: the Gauntlets involve three statue objectives, each reportedly requiring 100 hits with a specified attack type.
- Most dependent on repeated attempts: the Serpent Katana may take multiple keys and chest attempts; one guide says the correct key is character-specific.
Crafting: what guides report, and what is not confirmed
September 2026 guides associate Nightfall forging with Blacksmith Togane and a level 65 progression gate. One guide also describes Togane progression, the corresponding schematic, a prerequisite weapon, and materials as requirements. These are unofficial reports: the available guides do not establish a current official recipe or confirm every present-day crafting requirement. They also do not support treating all seven schematics as a requirement to craft any individual weapon. Check Togane’s live-game requirements before farming materials.
