The travelling Black Marketer is commonly reported at 10 possible spots in Project Slayers 2. Use the regional checklist below after a spawn notice, and check hidden areas—not just the main roads. These are community-reported locations, not an officially confirmed permanent list; locations or mechanics may change with updates.
First, make sure you are looking for the Black Marketer
The 10-location checklist refers to the travelling vendor called the Black Marketer. Do not confuse him with Kuro, a different merchant that an unofficial guide places near the bears at night. Another guide describes a five-location market with a night-time appearance and morning despawn, but its mechanics do not match the travelling Marketer reports. Treat these as separate NPC or market descriptions rather than combining their schedules. See the Black Marketer guide and the Project Slayers Wiki guide for the differing descriptions.
All 10 commonly listed Black Marketer locations
Guides vary slightly in landmark names and exact positioning. Use the access cue to search each area carefully; some points are tucked inside or below structures.
- Hidden Mist Village — near Yagane’s shop: Check by the shop; one guide specifies inside the wooden shop.
- Mistfall Harbor — below the bridge or wooden pier: Look underneath the crossing rather than only along the harbor path.
- Iceveil — beside a house: Search the snowy settlement along the route from the shrine toward Domae’s area. The settlement name is spelled differently across guides.
- Near Akaza — inside the cave: Reach the cave from Bamboo Grove or the Windy Peak shrine, then take the left route.
- Outside Windy Peak: Check just outside the village or peak area.
- South of Butterfly Estate — over the south fence: Cross the fence and inspect the outside ledge.
- Butterfly Estate — along the inside fence: Check the interior fence line; another guide places this point in a corner inside the main building’s fence.
- East of Butterfly Estate — across the bridge: Cross the bridge and search the far edge or cliff.
- East of Butterfly Estate — in the pit: Continue east or north from the bridge area and drop down into the pit.
- Starting village — by a house: Climb the wall to reach the house and check beside it.
The ten spots are compiled in the unofficial Slayers 2 Guide location list and Slayers 2 Wiki guide. A September 24, 2026 report also describes the Marketer as appearing at one of 10 fixed locations, but this is secondary reporting rather than an official game statement: SportsRant / Times of India Gaming.

How to search efficiently after a spawn notice
- Start with the nearest cluster. Butterfly Estate has four listed points, while the Windy Peak area includes the outside-village spot and the Akaza cave route. Choose the cluster closest to your current location rather than assuming one fixed spawn.
- Search the less visible access points. Check inside the shop, under the harbor bridge or pier, inside the cave, along both sides of the Butterfly Estate fences, beyond the bridge, down in the pit, and beside the house reached by climbing.
- Work through the checklist before changing your plan. The reported locations are a route of possible spots, not evidence that the NPC appears at a particular one each time.
What is and is not established about spawn timing
Unofficial guides disagree about the Marketer’s spawn cadence, how long he remains, and whether switching servers helps. The available location reports do not establish one reliable schedule or server-hop method. If timing is essential, confirm the behavior in the live game and note the current update or version. The exact settlement spelling also varies among “Iceveil,” “Icevell,” and “Iceville.”
