Our verdict on Zenroad
Zenroad is Damoov’s open-source reference app for mileage tracking, trip logging, driving analysis, and telematics. It is designed for developers and organizations building branded fleet, mobility, insurance, or driver-monitoring applications. The product automatically detects trips in the background and records mileage, routes, distances, durations, timestamps, waypoints, and driving behavior events. Vehicle profiles, safety scores, eco-driving scores, and a web-based DataHub dashboard extend it beyond basic trip capture.
Pricing follows a freemium structure. The Freemium plan is available by default until active users exceed 10. The Basic plan costs $250 for the first 50 drivers. Zenroad also supports web, iOS, Android, API, and self-hosted deployments, giving technical teams several ways to fit it into an existing product or fleet environment. Google Firebase supports authentication and personal-data hosting, while Bluetooth OBD connectivity adds a vehicle-data path beyond phone-based trip capture.
