Our verdict on ZAP-Hosting Killing Floor 2 Hosting
ZAP-Hosting Killing Floor 2 Hosting provides prepaid game-server hosting for cooperative zombie-survival sessions. It is designed for small groups that want a hosted server without managing the underlying infrastructure. Servers support up to five players and include automatic setup, a web management interface, FTP access, in-game console controls, configuration editing, manual backups, and DDoS protection. The service is offered by ZAP-Hosting GmbH, which was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Münster, Germany.
The published plans show a Killing Floor 2 server hosting option with up to five players, FTP access, DDoS protection, manual backups, and a web interface. The advertised starting price is 8.07, with prices including applicable EU VAT. Customers can pay monthly or choose the Lifetime Server option, which is described as a one-time payment for a lifetime server. This gives small groups a choice between recurring access and a longer-term purchase, although the five-player ceiling keeps the service focused on compact sessions rather than larger communities.
Setup and day-to-day administration are the clearest strengths. Automatic setup reduces the initial configuration work, while the online editor, in-game console, FTP access, and web interface provide several ways to manage the server. Manual backup creation and import add control over server data, and DDoS protection addresses a common concern for publicly reachable game servers. Eight advertised server locations provide geographic choice. Choose ZAP-Hosting for a small Killing Floor 2 group that values straightforward controls and flexible payment options. Groups needing more than five players or a broader server-hosting scope should consider an alternative.
