Yellow review
A focused whiteboard and meeting toolkit for facilitators who need participation reports.

Yellow is a browser-based visual collaboration platform for facilitators, coaches, consultants, businesses, public institutions, and defense organizations. It combines collaborative whiteboards with writing, sticky notes, visual sharing, meeting templates, polls, surveys, quizzes, votes, word clouds, and automatically generated reports. Participants can join through a link or QR code without an account, while facilitators manage sessions through a Yellow account. The product fits team meetings, brainstorming, training, agile rituals, seminars, and strategic planning more closely than open-ended diagramming work.
The published plans show a freemium structure. Free includes access to all activities and hosting on the Yellow SaaS platform, but limits users to one saved meeting. Premium adds unlimited meetings plus meeting duplication and merging; it is described as an annual per-user subscription. Business adds co-creation, co-facilitation, meeting sharing and delegation, unlimited boards per meeting, and usage analytics through an annual per-team subscription. Enterprise adds EU or France data hosting, on-premise deployment, SSO integration, dedicated support, and custom meeting templates. This progression makes the plan choice depend on meeting volume, facilitation responsibilities, organizational control, and deployment requirements.
Yellow’s main strength is its focused meeting workflow: structured activities, interactive training through PowerPoint slide import, guest participation, and report generation are brought together in one web experience. It also supports cloud and self-hosted deployment, with GDPR listed among its compliance attributes. The trade-off is a narrower ecosystem and platform footprint, with web access and SSO as the stated integration path. Organizations seeking facilitated sessions, polls, participation, and reporting should find the feature mix aligned with their work. Teams prioritizing a broader application ecosystem or a non-browser experience should consider another whiteboard product.
