Our verdict on Yapp
Yapp is a no-code platform for creating mobile apps for conferences, meetings, trainings, trade shows, and other professional events. Organizers build apps in a browser and publish them to web, iOS, and Android. The feature set covers multi-track agendas, speaker and attendee profiles, venue maps, event information, documents, downloadable files, push notifications, social feeds, polls, Q&A, and real-time analytics. It suits associations, nonprofits, and enterprises that want a branded event app without coding.
Pricing is straightforward but annual: Basic costs $399 per app per year and includes the editor, dynamic template pages, unlimited installs, unlimited push notifications, and chat and email support. Core costs $649 per app per year and adds content import, post scheduling, app privacy, app analytics, and video uploads on the Social Feed. Team costs $799 per app per year and adds team editing, multiple admins, phone support, and Social Feed moderation. A 14-day trial is available without a credit card, although trial apps are limited to 10 installs.
Yapp’s strongest fit is an event team that needs practical publishing and engagement tools in a single product. Instant content updates, scheduled posts, unlimited push notifications, and real-time analytics support events where agendas and announcements change during the program. The Team plan is more suitable when several people will manage content or moderation. Organizations seeking AI features or verified integrations should choose an alternative, while teams prioritizing an affordable, focused no-code event app have a clear starting point in Basic.
