Worksnaps is a remote-work time-tracking service for freelancers, contractors, virtual assistants, remote employees, and distributed teams. Its desktop client records work in 10-minute intervals, taking random screenshots while tracking activity levels, active applications, and mouse-click and keyboard-activity volume without capturing actual keystrokes. Managers use the web interface to organize projects and users, assign roles and permissions, review logged time, and manage offline-time requests.

Pricing is organized into flat monthly account plans. The Free plan includes one account owner and one project. Starter costs $20 per month and includes four users, unlimited projects, and unlimited observers. Team costs $40 per month for 10 users, unlimited projects, and unlimited observers. Department costs $70 per month for 20 users with the same project and observer allowances. Business costs $90 per month for 30 users with unlimited projects and observers. A 30-day free trial is also available. The account structure suits teams that want project capacity to expand without changing the project or observer allowance on paid tiers.

The standout capability is interval-based visibility into remote work: screenshots, active applications, and activity-volume tracking are combined with project and user controls. Worksnaps also connects with Asana, JIRA, Basecamp, Trello, Redmine, Teamwork, Huddle, Zapier, Podio, FreshBooks, Harvest, Unfuddle, Pivotal Tracker, Axosoft, and Taiga. It runs through web, Windows, macOS, and Linux access. Choose it when screenshot review, project-linked time records, reporting, invoicing, and offline-time approvals matter. It is less suitable for teams that need tracking outside the listed platforms, attendance or payroll workflows, or billable-time coverage beyond the stated features.

    • Tracking is organized into 10-minute intervals
    • Starter supports four users before moving to higher tiers
