Whip Around brings inspections, maintenance and compliance workflows for vehicle and equipment fleets into a cloud-based platform. It is aimed at fleet operators, drivers, mechanics and managers who need to capture checks, report defects, coordinate repairs and keep service records. Web, iOS and Android access supports both office and field workflows, while customizable inspection forms cover vehicles and other physical assets. Its focus is operational upkeep rather than live location tracking, so teams seeking a standalone GPS tracking app should look elsewhere.
The plan structure starts with Basic, free indefinitely for one asset and one user, with limited capabilities. Standard (Inspect) costs $5 per asset per month on annual billing and adds DVIR inspections, defect management, reminders, history and document storage, driver and manager apps, plus unlimited assets and users. Pro (Maintain) is listed at $10 per asset per month annually and adds preventive maintenance, work orders, parts and inventory, and service history alongside inspection and defect management. A separate FixedUnlimited option uses custom fixed pricing for unlimited assets, inspections, maintenance, compliance and reporting. A seven-day free trial is also offered. Because Pro pricing appears differently across the published pricing references, buyers should verify the applicable quote before choosing a tier.
