Our verdict on WebLOAD
WebLOAD is commercial performance-testing software for teams evaluating web application scalability, concurrent-user behavior, and bottlenecks. It supports browser-based script recording, JavaScript test scripting, API workloads, distributed load generation, server-side monitoring, real-time dashboards, performance analytics, and SLA alerts. Its mix of SaaS, on-premise, and cloud execution fits enterprises that need browser, API, load, and stress testing in one product.
The Monthly Subscription costs $499 per month and is SaaS-only. It supports up to 500 concurrent virtual users, up to 5,000 virtual-user-hours per month, tests lasting up to 2 hours, HTTP/S, WebSocket, and REST APIs, and a single load zone. The Professional plan adds on-premise or SaaS deployment, up to 10,000 concurrent virtual users, up to 400 annual testing hours, extra protocols, and monthly rental availability. Enterprise extends capacity to up to 100,000 concurrent virtual users and 1,000 annual testing hours, while adding multiple concurrent tests and extra protocols.
WebLOAD fits CI/CD and observability environments through Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, Git, Selenium, Appium, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, and Nagios integrations. It also connects with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and supports REST API automation. The AI Assistant is positioned for script creation and troubleshooting, while automatic correlation helps handle dynamic values in recorded scripts. Teams seeking a commercial platform with hybrid deployment, broader protocol coverage, and distributed testing should consider WebLOAD. Smaller projects with occasional testing or a preference for a free plan should look elsewhere.
