Webglobe Email provides hosted business email on a custom domain for entrepreneurs and companies. Its web-based Roundcube interface covers browser access, while IMAP, POP3, and SMTP support connects the service with Outlook, Apple Mail, and Mozilla Thunderbird. The feature set also includes forwarding, domain aliases, automatic replies, delivery receipts, signatures, server-side antispam, configurable spam filtering, SPF, DKIM, automatic backups, and a mailbox migration tool. It is aimed at users who want conventional email protocols and custom-domain addresses rather than a broader collaboration suite.

Pricing scales by storage, mailboxes, and aliases. Mail Start costs €2.99 per month with monthly billing and includes 20 GB of storage, 20 mailboxes, webmail, automatic backups, and Outlook connection. Mail Plus costs €5.99 monthly and adds 100 GB of storage, unlimited mailboxes, and 5 email aliases. Mail Ultra costs €10.99 monthly, with 200 GB of storage, unlimited mailboxes, and unlimited email aliases. The published annual equivalents are €1.79, €3.59, and €6.59 per month for Mail Start, Mail Plus, and Mail Ultra respectively. According to the vendor's pricing page, prices exclude VAT, and discounted annual prices apply to new services and may be promotional.

The main trade-off is focus. Webglobe Email covers core hosted-mail requirements, including filtering, authentication support, backups, migration, forwarding, and desktop-client integration, but it does not include a calendar and is available through the web rather than dedicated mobile apps. Mail Start suits smaller domain setups that need multiple mailboxes without aliases; Mail Plus is a practical step up for teams needing more storage and 5 aliases; Mail Ultra is for larger storage requirements and unlimited aliases. Choose it for protocol-based custom-domain email with straightforward plan tiers. Consider an alternative if calendars or dedicated mobile applications are central to the workflow.
