Weave Legal connects a law firm’s existing practice-management, billing, document-automation, communications, and other software to MCP-compatible AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. It is designed for small to mid-size firms using modern legal SaaS without engineering resources to build integrations. The platform works through web and API access, acts as a single gateway for multiple firm tools, and passes connected client and matter data through rather than storing it.
Its strongest fit is governance around AI-connected workflows. Role-based permissions, access controls, data boundaries, and audit logging cover tool calls and administrative actions. Configurable Routines support workflow automations, while documented MCP tools include input and output schemas. Integrations include Lawmatics, Quo Communications, and RingCentral Communications. Firms can connect unlimited AI assistants and keep unlimited teammates on the account, with no per-seat charges stated in the plans.
