Clio for Clients is a web and mobile client portal for law firms and their clients. It brings secure lawyer-client messaging, shared documents and folders, matter details, progress visibility, calendar events, invoices, payments, and payment history into one client-facing experience. Clients can access the portal through a browser or iOS and Android apps, upload or scan documents from mobile devices, and receive email or mobile push notifications. Passwordless email-link authentication is designed to give clients access without a traditional password. The clearest fit is a law firm using Clio Manage to coordinate matter-level client communication and information sharing.
The product’s main strength is its close fit with legal workflows. Portals are configured through Clio Manage and created at the matter level, so firms can connect client conversations and shared information to specific cases. Clients can review case details, court dates, appointments, invoices, and payment history without relying only on email exchanges.
